Iv been pretty strong about staying away from LOTR stuff cus I really didnt want to start another collection. So much for that.

Caved last week and got the Gandalf Premium Format and now Im fighting the urge to order Arwen,Legolas and Gimli. ughhhh

Why did you get a PF if you plan to collecting the 1/5 scale series? makes no sense. Imo 1/5 is the way to go, i am never a big fan of mixed media and the new 1/5 are done so well.

i will be waiting eagerly to see the in hand pictures, if by some miracle they fixed the hair/paint issue, it will be an instant buy for me..but i think i have a better chance at winning the lottery.

cus Gandalf PF looks sick from every picture of I have seen of it. I was'nt planing on starting the 1/5 scale series but I love the look of Arwen & Gimli.

I mix all of my scales together. I have lotr PFs displayed with the Legendary scale busts, weta busts, 12 figures, toybiz figures.
Weta Statues with busts, toybiz figures etc.
It makes for an interesting looking display.

They've apparently stopped promoting the Standard editions of any piece that still has the Exclusive version in stock. Standard Ringwraith is also missing, whereas Gimli and Boromir are there (because the Exclusives are Sold Out/Waitlisted)

Oh thanx for the info - I was wondering wtf happened when I wanted to see info about regular editon Gandalf. And he simply weren't listed on the site.

Odd that the regular is hidden, given that the Exclusive Gandalf is listed as Sold Out. You can still find it through roundabout ways, though.
