Quick aside (devil's pic of Asajj made me think of this): whatever happened to Dirge?? I know Obi Wan "killed" him in the Tartakovsky series, but wasn't the idea behind the character that he was a bundle of nerves in an armored suit who could reconstitute himself at will? He NEEDS to make an appearance in the CG Clone Wars. The show is an anthology, so even if he 'really died' at Obi-Wan's hand, he could still show up - maybe battle Cad Bane over the same bounty?

You really want to know?

Kenobi did not kill him in the Genndy cartoon (you can see his splattered parts coming back together as the scene ends). Anakin killed him in Republic. Threw him into a star.

Well, dammit, devil - that's just even more of a reason for him to make a CG appearance! Love how they left the 'timeline' wide open on that show with the anthology approach...maybe we could even get an "origins" story for Dirge, like they did for Asajj in "Nightsisters"?

I take it the origin story wasn't this?

She hails from the planet of Rattatak, the daughter of farmers. From an early age, she endures cruel whippings that begin when warlord Osika Kirske kills her parents. Ventress barely escapes with her life and encounters the Jedi Master Ky Narec, who had crashed on Rattatak. Narec and Ventress are both hunted by Kirske, and so he trains her in the ways of the Jedi so she can defend herself. Kirske kills Narec before Ventress can become a full-fledged Jedi, however. She develops an implacable hatred of the other Jedi who had abandoned her master and ignored the bloodshed on her planet.[2]

Ventress soon becomes a force of authority on her lawless homeworld, defeating most of the remaining warlords and getting her revenge on Kirske. She keeps Narec's lightsaber as a memento

Actually... without going into too much detail, the CW "Nightsisters" trilogy does a VERY admirable job of keeping the EU storyline intact while also expanding on it. The bit you refer to is told in flashback-style in very broad brushstrokes, but Asajj's Dark Horse origins are definitely in there! :)

Really surprised to see Asajj in a 1:1 bust. Love the character so curious to see more pics.

I find it a bold but cool move by Sideshow. I mean, it seems like people are pretty one-sided when it comes to hopes and expectations.

This is in my eyes a welcome surprise. Granted that some don't appreciate CW, but a lot do. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle... but as already stated, I find Asajj to be quite adorable. :)

We all have our own wishes, but in any case, it's a ballsy move by SS, and I appreciate that.

Pass, i would've jumped on an original asajj bust...

I don't know if there's already a thread for this but I am sure it was shown at SDCC

So I just made a fail....:slap :lol

I try to do one good thing for the SW peeps and it's a fail. :lecture I'm not off to a good start.

I looked for a thread, but it must be buried.

So are they doing a new reveal every day this month until Spooktacular then?

If by "buried" you mean its the first thread that comes up when you search for anything with "Asajj" in the title then yes, the July Life Size Bust thread is pretty buried. :lol ;)

I SWEAR I searched!! I probably spelled the name wrong. :rotfl

Khev, merge this thread ASAP!

Edit: I just searched for posts, not thread titles. I is a SW N00b.
