The number of second chance exclusives seems to be rising . . .

I'm happy because it allowed me to get one . . . but I didn't expect it . . .

Maybe all the newly released stuff was overwhelming . . . now if I can just get everyone to cancel their Darkness PF exclusives . . .

i've said it before, one excellent piece with the necromancer. got my cuz to order one for me, and it's going to look great. it will cause me to open my 12" ash, evil ash, s-mart ash and set them up next to the evil dead dvd sets one and two.

now give me some sugar!

I debated this piece for a while and decided to finally pass. While I love everything about the ED universe, this piece has me wanting something more. I just really don't like the pose. Why's he swaying in the wind. That lean just kills me...

The final Flexpay payment was originally scheduled for tomorrow (September 20) but I just got an email saying it's been delayed until October 22 because "we have increased quality control procedures for this highly detailed piece to assure your complete satisfaction" and that it will ship 7-10 business days after that.

This is my first Flexpay purchase and I kinda wish they would just charge me now and ship it later so it would be paid off but oh, well.

Well, if it's any consolation, I've had most of my waitlists cancelled since sideshow decided to clean house, but my darkness waitist is still active.

Edit: If anyone is interested about the Ash Ex waitlist, I had that filled, maybe 0.5-1 month ago. So that boat may have sailed.

I think it looks a tad bit better. He looks a little bulkier/less "cartoony".

I can't wait for mine, and if this production piece is any indication it looks like that last FlexPay on October 22 might actually happen and the figure will start hitting around then.

I like the proto better because it was dirtier, more rips.
I will still get it but gee why do they mess with stuff I like.

I don't think the production piece has less rips, I think it's just not as "futzed".

Anyways, the new newsletter says he'll be shipping "soon" yet he's still not showing up in the "shipping in the next 30 days" list.

Like I said, based on the fact that Sideshow has a production piece I'm confident that the 22nd will bring the final FlexPay charge and the figure will be shipped shortly thereafter.

I don't know ... something about that right arm looks odd .. Like the arm comes out farther than it naturally should. I'm on the fence about this one.

I like the proto better from the standpoint of a better fit with the pants and the weathering. Overall though, I still like it. But I did end up cancelling the exclusive and going with the regular through an e-tailer. I'm saving about $60 doing so.

One thing I do like about this piece is there is no nameplate on the base.

Same here, choopie. I kind of like the idea of the Necronomicon as an exclusive, but not enough to justify the extra money this time. If it had been the glove, that would have been a different story (although I suppose the glove wouldn't have "fit" very well with the pose, but still...).

That was exactly my thinking. The Necronomicon is kind of a vanilla exclusive. Makes sense, but its such a common accessory. The glove would have been "groovy". Even the miniature Ashes from the windmill scene would have been a fun exclusive, just to have something different and something worth spending the extra money on.
