I don't think the production piece has less rips, I think it's just not as "futzed".

That was exactly my thinking. The Necronomicon is kind of a vanilla exclusive. Makes sense, but its such a common accessory. The glove would have been "groovy". Even the miniature Ashes from the windmill scene would have been a fun exclusive, just to have something different and something worth spending the extra money on.

Mini ash figures would have been a great exclusive . . . cool idea . . .

Interesting idea, but how would you explain featuring an element of a previous movie in a depiction of a later one? By the time Ash struck the pose in the statue, he had left that hand far behind.

That tear is still there, it's just only visible on the pics of Ash's "backside".

I don't know if you'll be able to mess with it and turn it so it's visible from the front like in the proto pic but it's still there.

Maybe the hand followed him...lol...true that...the pose is from after the pit...but I like to think that this piece can be used for the ED2 as well...that is the poster I got (fav film of the 3).

No, but in the delay email they said that it would be charged no earlier than the 22nd but possibly later.

The two previous payments were charged 2 or 3 days after they were scheduled to so I'm just thinking it will be by the end of the week.

I have a question on this. I have the exclusive ordered which sold out. Well sideshow has it for second chance offer and they have 100 of them earlier today. How can there be that many available for second chance?

It's anyone's guess really. It could be cancellations from people who didn't like the final pics, or cancellations from people who found the regular edition for cheaper and can live without the exclusive. My guess is that more people are finding it for cheaper elsewhere.

As for me, I'm hanging onto my exclusive.

same here. Not going to cancel that. Bruce Campbell is one of my favorite actors, especially since he is from my neck of the woods. On a side note I was finally able to find Army of Darkness on DVD at Walmart. It was $7.50. Glad to finally get that movie.
