I've been trying to figure out where I've seen Pablo and it finally hit me that he's the ******* kid from Meet The Fockers.

I think this is going to be Pablo's main weapon whenever they go to the Cabin.

It seems like in that preview they played of "this season on Ash Vs Evil Dead" they definitely will end up in the cabin but there was also a pretty glaring lack of Kelly throughout the later episodes. I'm betting they'll have her turn and replay the Army of Darkness love story but with Pablo. I could see Ash ending up with Lucy Lawless at some point since Kelly is definitely not interested. Bruce and his one-liners have been on point so far. Loved when he punched Kelly's mom in the face.

That beheading was pretty gruesome in the last one. I'm glad no punches are pulled when it comes to the gore.

All right, finally got to sit down and watch these last night! Still don't have Starz, but let's just say that the internet isn't just for porn.
This looks like it's got a chance to be pretty decent. There is some unfortunate CGI, as others have mentioned, but they do seem to be using practical effects when they can, and that's certainly appreciated in this day and age. Very glad it's already renewed and it'll have a chance to thrive! Hopefully Sam can direct every once in a while, kind of like when Hitchcock would do an episode of Presents every season.

Chicky sidekick was taken over by that demon. It looked like it disappeared in the book but IIRC a black puff of smoke vanished in front of her face after it cut to her

If the book makes them time travel it would test Universal's patience off they went to the middle ages. Easier to pick another time and place. Ash vs Frankenstein's monster. That sort of thing.

Pretty cool effects in this episode. I can see them becoming a group of demon hunters for hire. Kind of like Devil May Cry. Wonder if that's the kind of format it might turn into over time. Kind of hope not.

Episode was decent. I'm left a bit confused as to where it stands with the first 2 films. In the premier episode Ash said he went to the cabin with his friends and it showed footage from the first film. Now in this episode it shows footage from 2 and says he went there with Linda on their way too Jacksonville. I always thought that the part opening part with Linda in Evil Dead 2 was a just a retelling of Evil Dead 1 because of the issue with obtaining the rights of the first film. Would it not be more accurate to say that he went there with his friends, they all got killed and then Knowbys daughter arrived? I feel they are struggling to really explain the backstory here.

I think in this universe, both events of both films were merged together. I'd like to think AOD happened unofficially, seeing how ED2 shows Ash on one of the pages in the Necronomicon in the past. But... I guess after the Evil was sent through the portal, he just went back to his life in retail

I'm trying not to put too much thought into this show (I'll save that for GOT & TWD), I'm just enjoying the ride.
