Your STAR WARS series is fantastic, and I’m looking forward to that charming rogue, Lando Calrissian, making his debut later in the year; THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is a bit under represented in your pantheon. Hopefully, SIDESHOW will rectify this, and when you turn your attention to our gallant crew in their Hoth fatigues, I’ll let you in on a little secret: psst - Han’s coat? IT’S BLACK, not blue, not brown, black - you can thank me later …Speaking of Han, when he makes a return appearance in the line, will his stature continue on the good ol’ Buck series, or will his noggin reside on a Prometheus body? I also love the Indy line, but Indy’s kind of a shrimp on the Prometheus body when compared to Captain Solo on the Buck body.

We agree, and do hope to give more love to Empire characters in the future of the 12-inch line. Moving forward, all releases will utilize the Trooper body or the Prometheus body, unless there’s a very good reason to use the Buck body.

It's stuff like this that makes me look twice at anyone that says DEFINITELY that any SW item is a certain way. This person is convinced that Han's Hoth coat is black - which is dead wrong. I saw the coat at SW Celebration as did many others. Lucasfilm had a plaque on the display asking about the color and telling fans to decide for themselves. It looks dark blue under some conditions and brown under others, but I can't see how it could be called black under any conditions.

I can't think of a single moment in Empire where it looks anything but a dark blue, I've never seen it look brown, I know many Hasbro figures have done it brown, but to me, a dark blue is the color it shows up as.

Someone better let LFL know that the coat they have in their archives is the wrong color. :lol

The actual coat is brown, right? To be fair, the OT DVDs, for whatever idiotic LFL reason, are all tinted a horrible, unnatural blue - the snow's blue and Vader's saber is pink for crying out loud. I don't think anyone would argue for SS to make Vader's saber pink just because it appears that way on the DVDs? So one would have to judge from the color corrected version or the costume in person.

Maybe they'll release him with a brown coat... but have a blue coat as the accessory.

My preference would be blue as that is who I've always seen it, I'm sure Kenner had a lot to do with that. Never heard of it being black though...

I don't get the attitude that goes with the post. Who the hell says stuff like "you can thank me later"?

SSC should have just ignored the idiot.

It is a bit dissappointing that such a snobby question goes answered and I don't think one of mine's ever gotten into the Q&A.

What a snob! I bet (and glad) he's never heard of our community. He would get roasted here quick. That smartassery won't fly in forums like the RPF either. And as Dave said (and my eyes agree), the coat is blue, period.

Those types of SW nerds are the reason I keep myself a good distance from the fandom. And who talks like that in real life anyway? :lol
