[emoji1787][emoji1787] **** me sideways! [emoji1787][emoji1787]I am sorry Rzeznikk! Your poor Bilbo is trapped in snowy Ravenhill e.g. U.S. Midwest is having massive blizzard messing transportation up:

Sorry I know the quality is mediocre but it’s something

Looks wonderful! Congrats!First am really sorry for those waiting and hope Bilbo finds his way home soon. Fed Ex ignored message to send to location close to me and was a good thing I kept checking - he ended up across town
But. To cut to the chase - am I glad I have Bilbo #2 on PO.
IMO at this price point Holy *&&^%$#! Or, to put it another way, I almost teared up and if Thorin is this good or better think I will burst into tears.
Just - love the Hobbit movies and it's like having just that bit of Middle Earth. And ASMUS has outdone themselves - staggering detail - love the sculpt, can look Bilbo-puzzled or sad and thoughtful etc. Cell photos but will leave the real photographers on this forum to do Bilbo justice. Beautiful sculpted hair, love the eyes, subtle coloring. He's heavy and sturdy for his size. Joints are tight as they should be so IMO move carefully. There's even detailing on the pipe (Ps. accessories are not taped down so open package over a towel or something - not saying ASMUS should but don't have stuff flying out of box when you open).
As usual from ASMUS the costume is a little miracle of materials and tailoring. OMG. Yeah, u could do custom etc. and boot up prices but OMG!!! I could spend hours with this fig. Thank you ASMUS - way to go, just take my money!!!!!
Don't have time to really work with him and he deserves a real photographer but:

And yes the Ring is there it is on one of the hands in the box.
Dare yah not to play with this one - I NEED Thorin now + dwarves!! (and ponies....)

It doesn't look to me like the head is too big. It actually looks like the torso may be too skinny. Maybe a tiny bit of padding through the shoulders would even it all out?
Gotcha. Well that's good. I'm thinking it'll just boil down to futzing and getting the look you want on the shelf. I'm excited! [emoji16]IMO that is more accurate. In hand to me the effect is almost "childlike" with a less developed body. It may not be the head itself but the hair - for sculpted hair - is thick and poofy. To me a bit of padding in the shoulders might be useful but then u have to worry about articulation being affected. I might add some cotton as jacket shoulder pads to beef the body or cut down a 1/6 fat suit as the body's shoulders are average to slim. The whole head seems to be 2-3 pieces if u look hard.
For sure there was nothing that really bothered me - I was more impressed than anything. Another tiny thing is Balin and Thorin's sigs are not on the contract! Tho that may be one of those weird license things like Gandalf not being able to use the names of the blue wizards in the films

Great photos, can't wait to get him! It's funny, with hot toys my immediate reaction is get them posed and put them in a detolf. But with Asmus toys I want to take them in my backyard and take photos of them. Can't wait!
Need hi def pics of the sculpt before i commit.
