Can’t wait for mine to arrive. Sounds like they did a fantastic job overall with the figure.

I think so, given the price point e.g. personally love the sculpt. Like the best portraits seems to change expression depending on position and lighting. Beautiful paint, subtle coloring, beautiful eyes - very neatly done. Also like the relative heaviness of the body and tight joints (and hairy feet). Definitely keeping my PO for Bilbo #2.

My Bilbo #1 has some minor nits - like the faintest seam line on one side of hair I need to buff/smooth out (Gimli had the same on the hands) but to me that's really small stuff. Tho just haven't had time to really work with him yet.

Another nice thing ASMUS did - as small as the pipe is - the stem is a bit flexible. It's not some brittle plastic that will just snap. Even the pipe bowl has detail.:love The scabbard has a leaf/stylized? buckle. Sting is diecast and beautiful. I just need to go into the yard and find him a walking stick.

Maybe other folks will have complaints? but can't help my enthusiasm for Gimli and Bilbo - always love great details and costumes (+ IMO great sculpts and paint) and to me these figs were made by someone who worked at it, overtime:clap, but kept the price within reach vs. custom figs $$$$$:horror

Head sculpt can be seen on eBay now. Took a few quick screenshots

Really looking forward to more pics - just have not had time to play with him a lot yet - this weekend! Just played with his joints a little, posing - all nice and tight, no floppiness/weakness.

I just got notification that my last flex payment has been pushed back to January 5. Which kind of sucks because that’s a definite no go for Christmas and a highly doubtful to make it in time for my youngest sons birthday on January 9. So will have to trail him along until we can show him Bilbo I suppose a week or two later. Darn it.

I pre-ordered Bilbo direct from Asmus on 22 August but still haven't received my invoice for the balance.

Thorin still isn't showing in my order history, either.

Log in to your PayPal account to see if you received a payment request. I haven't always gotten an email from Asmus with the request, but when I've checked PP the request is always there.

Yeah, I did that. No request for money. I just pre-ordered and paid the deposit for Arwen today so their system seems to be working otherwise.

Did you email them? Once I had to email them to get my invoice sent. They said they had sent it before and asked me to check my spam folder but I never found the original. I think that was for Frodo when that happened. Every other time I received my invoice within 24-48 hours of first hearing they were sending them. I’d send them an email.
