Asmus - Gandalf the White - Crown Line

@Asmus will you restock gandalf the white head again? I have already bought the crown, but i like to upgrade my original Gandalf the white as well..

I seriously hope so.

What I don't understand is that Asmus stated that they were releasing these sculpts in order to help the owners of the original GtW figures to update theirs and yet, they have a "3" head sculpt limit when purchasing... How many people do they think have "3" old GtW in their collections?! There are going to be a rash of flippers because of this and the true customers are getting screwed. I truly hope that they don't follow the same plan for the supposed Gandalf the Grey head sculpt sales.

Why can't we have some sort of proof system, that you own an old gandalf the grey via photos or sth? (Any proof can be faked but it should help a bit). I wish people with an old figure could get priority somehow and later sell more for anybody else

Good idea but I'm not sure how they could do an honest proof system, as there will always be ways of getting around it.

I understand that they are getting them done in a batch manner so that would be even more of a reason to limit sales to "1" per customer. At least give their regular customers a chance to pick "1" one.

Simple as a picture with the figure box and a piece of paper plainly showing the present date.

I don’t always keep the boxes for figures. The the crown series and Old Bilbo I have kept them but for most of the others I have gotten rid of them.

Damn, that's a great looking sculpt. I know InArt is getting all the love right now, but this is also one of the best I've ever seen. Wonder how long it takes to hair one of these start to finish.

We only had a few up in stock for testing, but they were sold before we can close it.
Anyway, yes, we will restock more, the intetion is to help upgrading our old release.

GtG's head was called of because the new GtW head is sinificantly better, and we will try to root the new GtW head in GtW hair for testing,
and see if it would work.

I like the Crown Gandalf sculpt, just replace the moveable eyes.

In any case, I own 2 Gandalf the Grey and need 2 new heads!

I was finally able to pre-order that GtW head sculpt and will need two of the Grey sculpts, as well. I truly appreciate that Asmus is offering these up. No other company has ever done so, if not mistaken.

Sometimes from their on faux pa,but more often then not they are very accommodating for the most part.

They were going to offer the GTG Crown head sculpt for sale. Once they seen all the accolades for the GTW sculpt they nixed that plan and are going to offer the GTW sculpt with the hairing of the GTG. That is the plan at least
