I suspect there will be a cheaper version on other sites that doesn't include the stone base. But I didn't really feel like waiting to see and placed my order.

Likeness is pretty good imo. I'll get over the hair contrast since Legolas was always my favourite growing up and his Helms Deep look is my favourite.

Not a fan of this hybrid hair. Didn’t like it in Elrond, it only worked for hot toys dx15 because the top of the head is covered. I wish it was all rooted. With that being said its still an improvement over the old legolas articulation wise on the head.

I would take all rooted hair if it was done by an expert customizer, but not by a factory.

Same here, first time I?ve experienced this issue.

There's something with his legs that just don't look right. I know he's slim but the legs on the figure look a little too stick skinny and unnatural.

Is it better to order from Asmus directly or wait for Sideshow to put him up?

Now I can't stop noticing that. Hopefully they add some slight padding.

Yeah right now the legs just look like 1 skinny uniform tube going from the ankle up to the waist. His thighs should at least be bigger than his calves.

Ordered! I think skinny legs make sense, maybe a little thicker but he was a skinny guy in films. Also, the tunic has the same overlap as first release. I hope Asmus fixes that because the front flaps should not overlap and remain untouching. I think the baggier tunic is also contributing to skinny leg illusion IMO.

Legs are a bit skinny in those pictures, yes, but if Asmus adds a thin layer of padding to fill out the pants a bit, it won't be a problem at all. It's also just the prototype, so I think it will be fine.

I think this looks great. It's not 100% Legolas, but it's 90% Legolas. Good enough for me. I was originally going to wait for a ROTK version but I like this mixed hair idea, so I'm going to get this one.

Just measured my Helms Deep shelves to see what I’m working with and they top out at 49cm!! So close yet so far. Hopefully I’ll be able to just angle the ladder slightly less steeply and it’ll fit. Gamling’s spear peaks at 53cm so I just slot that through a gap in the wooden boards so there’s usually a way to accommodate the big stuff.

I guess Eowyn will have to move out when Legolas arrives. I’m all but guaranteed to order him. It’s now just a matter of when I accept that fact.

The figure seems to have those knees that have double joints in them, bendable above and below the knee cap. That?s why the legs look odd when bent like that, it elongates the knee when both joints are bent and makes the leg look ?skinny?.

Anyway, i won?t be getting him but i will picl up Arwen 2.0. He looks cool though, the hair color paint is sooooo much better.
