Well I mean the hair looks like banana laffy taffy so there's that.

But I agree the likeness stands to be superior, if a bit ghastly. But still stronger as of now, without seeing more of the HD edition

Either way, I sold my V1 but kept the Fellowship troll base, in anticipation of this release so I'm happy to get this version plus an extra new dio.

I am a big fan of the original Legolas (which I paid to have the hair redone, as I really didn't like how that turned out lol), but this one has my attention also! I am most likely going to double dip on this one!

If you're a Costco member, they tend to get some Pulaski curios in for about $400 every year, once a year. They go quick. I got one for some hockey memorabilia I have and it's an incredible piece for the price I got it for.

The problem is that as of today, there is no mainstream or reasonably accessible/affordable display cabinet that is as minimalistic, relatively sealed, and put together as a detolf...

...What boggles my mind is that Ikea has not introduced the detolf 2.0/XL, the detolf successor, or built a system around the detolf.

I've thought about the exact same thing for years. I have a friend who actually did make a custom double-wide Detolf. It looks good but the work wasn't worth revisiting for a second case.

I think the best option, although also quite pricey, are the trophy cases like those found in High Schools. Pretty much all glass and the shelving is adjustable. I may end up just biting the bullet and going that route. The other option for me would be a custom made case(s) but who knows when I'll be moving to a new home and have to restart from scratch...

Amazing the other angles show a vastly improved headsculpt. This is an instant buy for me! Congratulations Asmus on another knockout. I’m still keeping my first Legolas but this one will be my favorite.
