Mmm, the mix of sculpted and rooted hair is giving me pause. How did it work out for Elrond? Head sculpt looking a bit more lantern jawed than I think of the character. Looks a bit like... Henry Cavill?

I mean it’ll absolutely be an essential figure for those that don’t already have Legolas. But based on what what I see so far not an automatic preorder for me.

I'm seeing Henry Cavill in there too funnily enough. I think the mixed hair looks decent enough and is leagues better than the original abomination but can understand why there is hesitation.

The armour and diorama look great though and I'm looking forward to seeing his Rohirrim sword too.

That?s yet another impressive base! I just wonder how it will fit next to the base for Aragorn since they are two different locations and different elevations?

Also when/if you do Council Elrond, please include a deluxe base for Rivendell. I really would love some Rivendell diorama style bases. Maybe the new Arwen if not with new Elrond.

Council of Elrond base with all the chairs and the stone dio in the middle with the 1 ring 😉😉😉

Still a bummer. Would love to display the whole thing. Looks so cool. Might have to figure out a different display configuration to fit the whole thing in...

Dunno how much it'll effect your overall display but I've seen people use little U-shaped bolts to raise a shelf in a Detolf. Could always go that route. ?

Sculpted and rooted hair mix does nothing for me.

Really? I love it. I think it's a perfect compromise.

The sculpted part really helps add to the character likeness and the rooted helps with being able to pose with longer hair draping down over the figure. I think it's a great idea and I hope we see more of it with figures like Haldir and Eowyn 2.0

I don't hate it. I just think they need to touch it up a bit. The proto isn't bad. I see Legolas. I just also see Superman lol.

I think everything about this release shown so far looks promising, except for the likeness. It needs a bit of tweaking. The paint and sculpting look nice but something about it doesn't scream Legolas to me. I really dig that base though.
