would be cool if we kinda got an all in one. Mirkwood and Lothorien bow and quiver along with the Helms Deep Rohan armor

That's what I am hoping for. I know if they do I would probably pick up two. One for the Fellowship display and another for the three hunters.

My top choices will always be his FotR or TTT looks.

But while it would be a distant third choice for me, I'd like to see them include his Hobbit armor as an extra. (I may not be the biggest fan of the Hobbit movies, but I love the design work. Including that outfit might nudge me into picking up a second figure.)

I seem to remember in the books that Legolas has a long knife / sword on his belt rather than the daggers - so Helm's Deep armour would be pretty accurate.
That said, I love his white knives; they were so brilliantly underused in LOTR - they were a special treat when he used one. The Hobbit on the other hand....

Asmus, why not do the braids in sculpted plastic, but do the long stretches of hair rooted? Would that be a feasible option? Otherwise though, this sculpt looks fantastic!

IMO the sculpted/rooted hair looks like crap on Tauriel. I can't imagine it would look any better on Legolas.

I want to agree in this case, but the fact that Legolas should be able to sight a bow in poses makes me lean that there needs to be some way to pose the hair. Even if it's swappable hairpieces, you know?

Be able to pose the figure is so important, and we believe there is a way we can get away with sculpt hair on Legolas.

Do you guys actually have Tauriel? I think the mixed hair worked well. From the front it looks sculpted, from the back or in an action pose drawing the bow you see the rooted hair. If they were able to match the color a tiny bit better would have been nice but I like it and was looking forward to Legolas having some flowing locks.

I was hoping they would have figured out a way to do "matted" hair on top sort of like Grishnak and then longer flowing hair like his dad in the back. ThreeZero's Dany looks good, little tighter and slicked back for Legolas would have been awesome.

I hope the hair is a separate cast piece so I can buy an extra head, break it off and re-hair Legolas on my own if I have to.

Honestly no, I don't have her. I am basing my opinion on just seeing pics of her which may be unfair.

I don't have her, but I didn't like the way it looked in pictures. I'm glad Legolas' hair is going to be one consistent medium.

Sculpt is excellent - only thing I would change is the end of his nose.

I hope the clothing / tailoring and weapon quality is good. If his bow, quiver and knives aren't good, I will be heartbroken.
