Nice reveal. Some photos make him look great and some make him seem off from the film likeness a decent amount. He looks like he'll display nicely with the Witch King so I am still excited about this one.

holyyy **** that is badass!! Ive always been more interested in the villains. Cant wait to see how the uruk hai turn out!

More Aragorn back there?

Gothmog looks devastating. Love the fur and little hairs on the head -- the mixed media really adds.

Not sure... the boots look like they have buckles, and his boots do not... Or course, it could just be some Aragorn parts combined with other stuff, because the tabard does look about right. :dunno

Yes! Looks good to me!

(Personally, I kind of have a hard time complaining too loudly about likeness issues when the guy already looks like a wad of chewed gum you found behind the couch. :lol)

The Gondorian torso chunk seems a little gruesome, though. I really dig it, but it wouldn't surprise me too much if Warner/NewLine ended up nixing it. Kind of an R-rated accessory for a PG-13 movie.

That sword is definitely not a Rohirim sword.
ETA 2 things. 1. Although not a perfect representation of the screen Gothmog, it's still pretty damn good! 2. I really thought this would be an easy pass and I would save some money. Seems like that will no longer be the case.

Not even close. :lol If you really think a couple of people mentioning the mouth area needs to be tweaked is worse it might be time to walk away from the Internet. Besides weren't you tossing in the towel if the mace on the Morgul Lord was attached to one of the left hands? :lol

You ar looking awfully hard for a fight on this. But I won't give you one. I understand that you are a die hard fan and want very badly to believe the best about the line.

Yes, I was talking about throwing in the towel on the Morgul Lord (in fact, I did)...and I was adding that fact into the mix on the whole deal.

This looks pretty good, but not as impressive as the witch king imo...really not liking the fabric underneath the armour on this figure...seems more rushed in general this one. Looks like some red pyjamas with random armour packed on top of them...may pass on this one.

What does R-15 mean?

I'm assuming it means 15 years old...think PG-15 instead of PG-13...for what ever that means over there.

Actually looked this up...R-15 typically means a movie is Rated 15...meaning in some countries, you have to be 15 to go into the theater...whether or not you have an adult with you...if your not 15, you don't go into the theater...period.

We do try to get movie accurate,
but it is hard because most of the body is covered in armour.

However, we still did wheathering on the fabircs. and they will also happen in mass production too.

That picture is a great one. Pretty tempting set of pictures for sure.

No, I'm really not. :peace

Darkening the fabric is a pretty doable alteration... so if he looks like the pics when I get him I'm going to be very pleased.

It wasn't an attack at you guys or anything, and may I say your witch king looks absolutely fantastic...getting that one for sure!

I was just hoping that the same care and attention that you guys gave the witch king was gonna be applied to every figure in the line...but I understand what you're saying about the difficulty of the costume work :peace

I think I speak for all middle-earth collector's when I say we are certainly not taking your efforts for granted!!

And may I personally say how AWESOME it is that you guys regularly come on here and listen to our feedback!!

Much respect :hi5:
