Wrong! The HYPE is what sells to more than just casual collectors. The Hobbit movies do provide that for this line.

Asmus did only promise 5 total figures per year on this license. So that's about 1 figure every 2 and a half months or so. They seem to be right on target.

I guess you're right but they announced the Morgul Lord last April...that'll be here before we know it.

I guess they'll make it.

I guess its good news... but sounds like Gothmog will still have a "problem" that will only get sorted out with Gandalf.

Likely the low presales for Gothmog didn't inspire much effort to solve this issue... but certainly they expect Gandalf to be a big seller.

I'm super anxious about these too and just want to see it done justice while there still exist a marketing season for Tolkien 1/6th toys. After the Hobbit series concludes, it's more likely that this resurgence will loose steam other than gain it. I don't want to yet again be holding the bag without at least a complete fellowship
...unless of course if Disney buys it and is like, F Tolkien, let's get this franchise rebooted!
