Pretty sure they will NOT...I'd be surprised if they did...it's pretty early in the game for them...but I LOVE surprises.

Here is a little TIDBIT that may be of interest regarding Asmus Toys:

"As for the matter of distribution, we decided not to sell the LOTR line ourselves now. We have distributors in China and they are helping sell the products."

Now...i'm not sure if this is why we are not seeing the figure for sale on their site like other stuff from them or if it means that they have some NEW distributorship through China. Also not sure what this means for current figures and figures in the pipeline. I have a couple questions already lodged with them...will report when I get more answers!

Either way...Asmus has been EXTREMELY pleasant to work with from a collector and business perspective. I can only HOPE and PRAY that their product matches their dedication!

Cool! I am going to be very selective with this license with how great Weta's Hobbit stuff and with them getting The Lord of the Rings back I'll be doing that.

Yeah...so 'shipping' may be from factory to distributor...sorry, Asmus wasn't very specific. Monkey on Fire (their distributor for the Witchking figure) did let me know that as soon as they start receiving they will try to update their imagery with production images.
