If you got stiff joints.
Can yours hold the mace off the ground?
Also, I got a piece of a white tag on my WK's crotch. Really odd. Looks like a tag that someone cut off. Like a Barbie tag or something.

Whatever happened to The Josh? I thought he was going to post pictures a couple days ago? Curious what his experience is like.

Yeah, you have a very good point. If the joints aren't tight it's kinda pointless.

The right arm and wrist on mine are fine with the sword and the left arm is tight enough to keep the mace up, but the wrist totally flops. I keep the left arm lower with the mace resting on the ground.

I don't remember seeing any kind of tag on my WK's pants.:dunno

I'm not sure where Josh is at, He's probably busy buying more Middle Earth stuff and already forgot this guy.:lol
I thought Flosi was gonna post a review and pics as well. I'm dying to see some pics of the WK with that awesome Gandalf he has.

I do not think he could hold up the mace... not because of the arms, but I feel like the hand couldnt take such stress!

I do advise anyone who wants to swap hands on this figure, to boil or blow dry first. There are no additional hand pegs and you do not want to go breaking it!

Mine should be here on Friday! I can't wait to check him out in person. I'm a bit nervous about the loose body issue, but I'll see...

Did anyone else preorder this from Vantage collectibles . I'm hoping they get witch king soon . How did big bad toy store get there in so early ?

Those are the six- and twelve-inch ToyBiz figures from back in the day, correct?

I always loved that little wraith. My favorite of that entire line.

Yeah they are. I got them super cheap at a collectible store.

I think the 6' inch line is great. Some of the figures were really well done. Especially some of the Uruk Hai and orcs. Yeah, I love that ringwraith one. I also have a loose Witch-King. He's pretty cool too. I'm trying to get all the different wraiths in the 6 in line.

The Witch King 6" from Return of the King is one of my favorite figures any scale and any line. It was really well done. I had skipped on picking up the Rotocast figures except the Trolls but now I am kind of wishing I had tracked down one or more of the Ringwraiths.

The Toy Biz line was fantastic and I still have boxes of it in my house for my kids but even though they love the story they are more intrested in the He-Man and Ninja Turtle toys. I think a lot of it is because of the color scheme. Most kid toys are brightly colored and they are not.

Get that Lurtz fund up will ya!! Stop drinking one Starbucks coffee a day and the Lurtz fund will be hundreds in no time ...LOL:rotfl

Got my Morgul Lord from Hobby-Galaxy. The figure is huge. I haven't had a chance to really do anything with it since I'm at work, but so far it seems awesome. The body appears to be a bit floppy, which is disappointing but expected based on other's comments.

I have to say, this was my first purchase through Hobby-Galaxy and they were fantastic. Excellent communication throughout and great packing (they double -packed the figure so the original shipping box was also in mint condition). :clap

Yeah, I'm going to get a few more. I need to track down a Gothmog 6'in one.

I probably had 10 or 12 of him at one time. :lol

Back in the day it was cheaper to by a case of figures and have it shipped to your door than buying a complete set at retail. So once I figured that out instead of heading to the only Toys R Us in town in between classes trying to beat whoever else had been buying the lotr figures I just started buying them by the case. No way I could do it now at todays prices. I want to say I could get a case of 12 figures delivered for somewhere in the $50s total. The best case was when they did the Uruk-Hai only case so 12 Uruks for $50 was a great deal.

Wow!! Great deal! My brother and I collected this line in College, and we went on toy runs between classes, just like you. We usually got pretty lucky though between TRU, Suncoast, and oddly enough a music store in the mall called Sam Goody. I still love the line, and the Witchking was my absolute favorite too! It's awesome to have him in 1/6 now! :yess:

Ported the WK to a Hot Toys TT. He lost some height but I find it better proportioned now. The joints are obviously much better but still the mace is too heavy to be hold in the air!
