Some nice prices on Amazon Canada (prices in CAD). 68$ CAD = 49$ USD. So 10% discount compared to the 55$ retail
But BBTS already has wave 1 & 2 at 20%. I assume wave 3 will follow.

Hope springs eternal! Maybe the colors look better. And maybe the new sculpt looks good. My main hope is that there is more detailed paintwork. One of my top 2 joe characters in the style I'm most nostalgic for so worth rolling the dice.

I'm more upset that Mezco didn't reveal Zartan at SDCC and a NO JOE for that matter

No new joe ultimates shown was a bummer for me but they claim more are coming, and that the focus is just on the new reaction figures for now.

Supposedly there is more coming but I'm not super optimistic about it's longevity. Be nice if we got snake eyes v2 and firefly, at least. Some speculate it may have legs as part of the basic target releases. They are doing this with Thundercats.

I agree. And the fact that we got an animated look instead of the usual interpretation of 80s figures, it's even better !

Just sad that the high price seems to have killed this line already.
Most figures are still available at heavy discounted prices.
And no new announcements in months.

I think the Joe Ultimates Line is done. The only thing you'll see from here on out is Super7 just pooping out repaints of the same current molds (like they always do with everything). Even Brian Flynn can't even be straight up and tell us that more NEW characters are coming. The prices and discounting has killed the line too.

Really think we needed a Shipwreck in this line.
He was a main character in the Pyramid of Darkness mini-series and ongoing series.

The lack of ninja Snake Eyes is most surprising, as he is likely the most recognizable and popular character/design in the whole franchise. I suspect they will at least try to get that out before all is said and done. They revealed some new Reaction+ figures today (cartoon Serpentor and Duke, and showed. . .Fatal Fluffy and the barbarian dude from the MASS Device on the back of the card. . . . . . . . . . . .), so they still have the license anyway.
