at last after doing the water treatment to the clothes and little color repaint ( mainly the weathering and the dirt) of the figure,
really satisfy with this figure, love the detail of his armor....:lol very good job Asmus ......:clap
just one thing that frustrating me is the loosen body, try to strengthen it but fail, need to find the Hottoys TTM 21 body for replacement later......:(

Very nice work mate. I did a similar repaint and I think that the armor looks much better hightlighted and rusted.
Anyway I quote myself just in case you want to diplay the scabbard loops properly. :wink1:

The belt "mistery" is indeed quite simple.
Asmus apprently used SSC Premium Format as a reference for everything, and so this is the correct way to display the scabbard:

.
The loop piece with the buckle should hang from the belt end, being positioned between the other two loops.

My two-loop piece was glued, so I unglued it and tied back to the belt.
Also this piece is too short to obtain the complete vertical position of the scabbard you see on the PF, but that's it.

That looks fantastic. Not too much futzing, not too little.

Thanks! :duff

Been working on a Nazgul.

Bought some extra pieces on Toys Anxiety to build one.

He is on a modified HT body. He has pretty much the same size as the Witch King but with much better joints and posability.

This is still a wip, need to work on the fabric more. I want to get rid of the overly done splatters.
Armor has been repainted.

Really nice work so far......:clap!!!!
btw, which HT body r u using for replacement ( r u using the TTM 21)??

I didn't used a ttm21. For som reason the shoulder didn't looked right.
I used a narrow shoulder ht body. Cut the torso in half and inserted a metal rod. Fill the gap with foam. I did the same wiht the legs.
He looks more proportionate than the KP body. I did the same with my Witch King.

The body on mine was horrible and very loose.

What a surprise . . . Seb turns scraps into gold!

My RIngwraith is now completely done.

I dye the whole outfit black to match the material I used of rthe hood and the rest of the outfit. Gave it a fresh new weathering.
THere is actually nothing under the hood, no armature, nothing. Just a black hole.

To do this I put the cloth in a mix of glue and water. I put it on the figure with a head under there and shape it. Once I get thedesired shape I let it dry over the night. Removed the head and now the hood keeps his form while still able to pose it.

I also gave the armor a repaint.

The nazgul look really cool..............excellent work.........:clap
yes, it's a brilliant idea for the hood!!!

Holy smokes!

And here I thought he re-did the Witch-King without the helmet and shoulder armor for pictures, just read he made this as a Nazgul. Well its magnificent as usual. The weathering especially along the hood is incredible.

One of these days I'd love to see a picture of your display, Seb. It's got to be wondrous.

Thanks a lot guys.

Indeed Wor, I made this one as a Nazgul but technically with this sword it's still the witch-king but it doesn't really matter.

I do have an armored Witch-king that i'm also reworking. The body on mine was so loose.

I just switched the upper torso with one from, I think, and Enterbay Leon body, and it makes a massive difference. Better articulation, much better proportions, and adds about 1/2" in height. I had to mod the neck a bit though, as it looked a bit like Gladstone Small initially....

I'll post pics once I've done the water treatment, as it's just too poofy in the robes department without
