Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

That's really looking nice. I'm excited for this one and as much as I have enjoyed the European settings in the previous games, I'm looking forward to this new story.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

I am not overly impressed. It will probably be a fun game but hanging in the forest doesnt have the same wow factor that running through some of greatest cities of history.

A lot of the game will also take place in colonial Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

At first I was a little tooken by the whole in america and the flag thing but now I understand that this is a smart premise. I'm so glad we are finally done with ezio. I like him and he's my fav assasin but I want to start fresh again.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

Still no where near impressive as Rome, Venice, Florence, Istanbul, Jerusalem

No, but I've actually been to the places where this one takes place. :lol Will be fun to revisit them as a badass parkouring assassin.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

Buddy was telling me that it was announced that this new Assassin Character will have an English father and Native American mother......so I guess that's where the tomahawk comes from

Your friend is correct - plus I think someone posted that info here earlier. :lol

I liked the "Kingdom" travel in AC1. I't aopears as if AC3 goes back to that in some respect. The large cities in AC2 and Brotherhood of course are awesome, but it will be neat to go back to some wilderness and camps like in AC1.

I expect that will offer a lot of awesome visuals. If the snowy forest doesn't inspire some "wow" from you I don't know what to tell you. I think it looks awesome.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

Reminds me a bit of Red Dead Redemption...I loved the scenery in that game.

Re: Assassin's Creed 3 announced

It should be a lot more lush with trees than the deserts of RDR. Should be cool.

I have been to a lot of cities from the previous games, actually I will have been to more of the cited from previous games then this game.:rotfl

So shouldn't he be opposed to both the rebels and empire? They were equally opressive to the natives :dunno

Either way i'm excited by the trailer, gameplay and character looks cool

From what I've read, the game starts with American colonists wiping out the native tribe he is living with ...so its definitely not a US = good, England = bad storyline.
