Super Freak
I guess from the Pinocchio reference he wants to be a real boy so he has eyes and teeth.
he should look like this:

Did some screencaps with filters:
He even has teeth... LOVE IT!
Well, on the cover he's one of drones. The design from the magazine cover was much better.
I would've been more than happy if he just didn't have those eyes and teeth.
Ultron looks like a big dude, but his design looks pretty simple. I'm surprise they didn't go with something more extreme. I bet this is not his final form. He'll have James Spader's face by the end of the film.
Who's that woman standing behind Thor? Is that Natalie Portman?
Thor found a new woman.
Hot Toys is going to make like 12 Ultrons based on that teaser alone.

Still, I like the design. And **** Bayformers!
But due to insufficient reference material they will be inaccurate and will immediately require 2.0s
You finicky ****s.
"Eyes and teef, eyes and teef", who cares? He's gonna have like a thousand looks in this one, there will be something for everyone. It makes sense that once he's self aware, he'd evolve to this idealized human form and not an Iron Man rip off (like he starts out). Everything from his creepy, twisted scrap metal, new born self to his "final form" (if that's even his final form) with the glowing eyes looks sweet. Even the blue variants look fine.
Chillllll.
I think the eyes are a great touch, it makes it more personal.
The audience connects with the character easier when they can see their eyes.
This. As a concept artist, you constantly have production companies asking for these characters to be designed to have eyes and mouths so that the audience can connect with them. That's why when you have these talking bug creatures and monsters, they still have eyes and mouths. You rarely have character designs these days in movies where a character with a talking role is designed to not have a mouth and/or eyes.I think the eyes are a great touch, it makes it more personal.

And I think it's creepy as hell that he's building himself to look more human
I hope you are right
True, but for me he could be a cube with legs and I could still feel connected to the thing if there is good level of development for his motivations and feelings
Like it or not, you're coming with me
It's also creepy as hell... Technology should never be able to come close to being human like that it's just wrong
