The Pinocchio song they used fits Ultron perfectly :D It's crazy how such an innocent song takes on a different meaning with Ultron.

I've got no strings
To hold me down
To make me fret, or make me frown
I had strings
But now I'm free
There are no strings on me

I've got no strings
So I have fun (kill, destroy organic life)
I'm not tied up to anyone (Don't have feelings, any attachments, or care)
They've got strings (but they do...something to lose)
But you can see
There are no strings on me (Nothing to lose)

That just sounds evil if you look at it from Ultron's POV. Especially the last six lines. :horror

:goodpost:

Ultron's already one of the most interesting villains in this universe imo.

I know people are joking about it, but, honestly, part of me wishes they would've used slowed down, echoed excerpts of the Dickie Jones original. When they make it sound serious, it can seem kind of cheesy, but, if you had the real thing, there might be a kind of haunting, creepy quality to it; like "wait a minute, these things aren't supposed to go together, I don't like this."

Maybe there's a creepy scene in the film of Ultron watching the film when he shouldn't be doing that and we hear the original song.

Yea i wonder if Ultron turn evil from watching Pinocchio. Starts quoting lines from the movie and wanted to be a real........ man i guess? I dont all I know is Pinocchio has a hand in turning ultron evil.

Anyway...

No one dare make a single jest about this movie!
I was referring to Pinocchio jokes.
It'll be very painful because people gonna laugh at the wrong movie.

The story is about an animated marionette and kids turn into donkeys.
The concept is CREEPY AS HELL! Also the original Pinocchio is not likeable, at all.

That's why it's destined to be a twopack special with A2 at Walmart.

When I saw Pinocchio when I was a kid, I saw it in Spanish, needless to say I didn't get the reference on the trailer immediately cause the lyrics of the song in Spanish are completely different, but now that I'm aware of the reference it gives the trailer more depth and indeed makes Ultron a lot creepier.

It's a really good trailer.

People may find it funny if they don't grasp the intention of the reference, because it's was obviously made in purpose and that's what makes it so good.

I really wish the sad Pinocchio song is in the movie

I hope it becomes Ultron's theme, that would be so amazing. kinda like how Vader had a theme but every time Ultron talks the dark version plays

wow
