Just look at how many people were worried that Avengers wouldn't work. "Oh there's too many characters. Whedon won't be able to balance them enough. There wont be enough action, he's not known for that" etc etc...well we know the rest of the story...

Perfect example.

There are some people that would complain about an orgasm.
Making films like these is a difficult balancing act and we have clear examples of when that attempt has failed miserably. So far Marvel has done an excellent job turning out a very good balance.
Perfection is not attainable because it is subjective to each fan's tastes.

W(hy)TF would they bring Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch if they can fully use these characters? They can't say where their powers come from, they can't mention they are mutants, can't give a good insight in their story and background. These are gonna be some bastardize version of the two. They would be better off bringing characters whose background isn't tied to another studio. Should have brought Ant-Man, Wasp, Vision or even Wonder Man.

After Iron Man 3, I'm not sure about this movie anymore.

The characters you mentioned would've made more sense. However they're his favourites

On any Marvel character he wishes he could "do" (rephrased: to bring to some medium)…

On the nebulous cinematic rights to the character Quicksilver, and whether Bryan Singer's decision to include him in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will affect his inclusion in "Avengers 2"…

"And so continues the Q and not-A… That's not something I can really talk about, but Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are going to be in the movie and they're going to be AWESOME."

Why must it always be DC vs Marvel? What am I talking about... these days even Marvel can't leave Marvel alone between Fox and DisMarv, Singer and Whedon, etc.

I am really looking forward to Avengers 2 helping to mend the betrayal of trust that was IM3. Thor 2 in the meantime looks like a pretty good start.
