Why would Hydra want to use this armor? Bullets and arrows easily penetrated through it when the Chitauri used it. Seems to me like Whedon is working hard to connect this movie to the first film as much as possible.

That's how a connected movie universe works, the stories bleed over into each other. And this being a direct sequel, it stands to reason they would have a direct connection. It makes perfect sense to use what parts of advanced alien technology they can to their advantage. And they likely back engineered it and have clearly adapted it to their purposes. It's as much different as it is the same.

I always figured this movie would pretty much incorporate everything from phase 2 and bring a conclusion to that as opposed to being a direct sequel of the first. Still though, their armors didn't really look all that advanced to me, Black Widow and Hawkeye were beating up multiple Chitauri with their barehands. And I don't think their little staff guns did much either, didn't Cap and Black Widow get shot with one?

Mostly about his personality, I really expected him to be a dull character, which he still could be I guess, but the accent, and cocky quick tempered attitude I didn't expect. Power wise, I don't expect to be blown away by him, everything I've seen from him in action looks pretty terrible.

And yea, Whedon confirmed in that video he's definitely not faster than FoX-Men QS.

Black widow will beat him with her glow sticks, while not so Quick- silver moving almost as fast as a bullet detracts Thanos....:slap

:lol

I hope we get this scene between Thor and Quicksilver...

Oops, I forgot, "gods" only live like 5 thousand years in the MCU and QS is almost as fast as a bullet so he can't dodge lightning. :lol

Don't worry, if not so Quicksilver gets hit by a bolt of lightning, he'll absorb the lightning and his speed will increase by 400%...which unfortunately, still makes him way too slow to dodge lightning :lol Makes me wonder why Thor doesn't just increase Tony's powers by 400% during the final battle in NY? :lol

Thor was always boring to me. And yes I'm not really knowledgeable on his character aside from cartoons and movies so I base him off those.

Dude, you need to start reading some Mr. T. , he's easily one of the most interesting characters in the MU, his personality in the movies is pretty spot on, but in the comics there are better stories, better action and better villains.

Hey Gaspar - you seen the old Lou/Bixby HULK Tele-movie with THOR in it? :lol

It's awesome, in a cheesy kinda way. He keeps referring to HULK as a troll, & I believe they kinda use that in Avengers.. no?
