Interesting armor for the Hydra soldiers.

Power Rangers?

Hey Gaspar - you seen the old Lou/Bixby HULK Tele-movie with THOR in it? :lol

It's awesome, in a cheesy kinda way. He keeps referring to HULK as a troll, & I believe they kinda use that in Avengers.. no?

I find Thor works pretty good in The Return of the Incredible Hulk, I don't like Daredevil in Trial of the Incredible Hulk much though and not enough Hulk in that one. Both were intended to potentially launch their own shows.

I've seen chunks of it, but haven't seen it complete, I've been meaning too, I did like the parts I saw, I love old Superhero movies.

I recently watched an old Shazam serial.

Sorry Maulfan, I missed your earlier post!

Yeah, I like both the TV movies. I thought John Rhys Davies as Kingpin was a little bit of an odd fit, but he was still ok. I liked the dude that played Murdock/DD, & it's cool that they actually referenced Miller it seems, for the early black suit with the blindfold - like how they're also doing it with the new show.

For me the Daredevil movie just didn't work as well because it didn't feel much like the Hulk show, even though the Thor film added him in, overall it felt almost like a typical story for the show with just another hero which worked for me.

Death of the Incredible Hulk is good, but no other heroes there, just Hulk. Ferrigno was huge in those movies, much bigger than he ever was on the TV series. I own all 3 movies, I love Bixby/Ferrigno Hulk.

Yeah me too. I'm hoping HT visits Lou HULK in their 1/6 figure plans in the future at some stage.

I forgot about DOTIH.. oops, I don't have that one.

I'm dying for someone to produce a Ferrigno Hulk, I don't care if it's a statue, 8" figure, just something, the most beloved Hulk of all for me and the only one that has no representation in my collection besides trading cards.

Well, there was that statue that the company 'Syco' announced - then pulled, due to licensing BS.

Here's a link to the story: https://hulkcollection.wordpress.com/2012/08/06/the-hulk-that-never-happened/

Like the 66 Batman TV show malarkey, lots of hoops that were too hard to jump through.

Not great that they kinda stole the sculpt / pose idea from an independent guy that nailed the piece, & ended up not as good.

I remember that, I'm not a huge fan of the stolen sculpt or the original though, the arm and leg proportions are bigger than Lou, it almost looks like a cross between a comic Hulk and Lou, but it would have been better than nothing. If someone saw fit to release all this '66 Batman stuff, someone's got to see Bixby/Ferrigno Hulk as worthwhile. I'd even take ReAction figures of them, those wouldn't need likeness rights and would be fun and nostalgic.

Yeah, the sculpt was a comic / Lou hybrid, but still in the realm of cool for my money anyway.

The problem though - especially with HT, is that if they did in fact get the go ahead, it'd be an all rubber affair.

**** that. :monkey4

HT Ferrgino would be mostly PVC, only the chest would be rubbery, which is good, but I'd still rather something like a NECA figure or a statue that's solid.

I'd want a NECA style figure too - one with joints that aren't covered by a 'skin' of sorts.

NECA should do 12" figures. There's gotta be some way they can bypass the licensing / scale situation.

If NECA sees money in it, they will find ways to get aroudn licensing road blocks. DC has rights to 7" scale figures of '89 Batman but NECA got the green light to do a figure because it was packaged with the Blu-Ray and not a "traditional" figure. I don't see them doing 12" though, they don't use that scale much, probably because of all the competition out there, they tend to stick to 7" and 18", though 18" Ferrigno Hulk is welcome. I'd be really greedy and want a Bixby Banner if anyone ever makes figures.

Hmm.. that said, the precedent is there for HT to acquire the HULK TV rights - as well as the Lynda Carter WW show.

Those two shows deserve major love.

Yeah, I grew up with West Batman, Carter Wonder Woman and Ferrigno Hulk, and not an established hero but Ralph Hinkley in Greatest American Hero, no way he ever gets a nice figure but would be all over it if he did :lol
