AICN's description of the footage:

I'm adding onto this story, so you know the big news... AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON will be the big Avengers sequel. Here's how it was revealed:

After Guardians of the Galaxy's panel (which was great, report coming up soon, I promise) Kevin Feige stands up to leave and just as he gets to the end of the stage, he doubles back and introduces Joss Whedon. Crowd goes nuts, Joss waves and says “I don't have anything to say, but I have one thing to add.” The lights go down and we hear the Avengers theme.

Iron Man's helmet appears, audience cheers. Sound clips from all the Marvel movies start playing. “I am Iron Man,” “I'm always angry,”etc. I don't remember all of them, but they build to the end of the Avengers where Sam Jackson says they'll be back when they are needed.

All the while the camera sweeps in close to the Iron Man helmet. It's getting crunched, dented, misshapen. Sparks fly, crunching noises are heard. When we get that final Avengers quote the camera pulls back and the Iron Man helmet has been reforged as Ultron's helmet, an angry red light glowing out of his mouth and eye holes. Cue my eardrums being punctured by screaming fangirls (and boys, I'l be fair).

There you go. One of the best Holy **** moments of Comic-Con 2013.

empiremagazine: Also had a chat with Kevin Feige about Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The title is 'borrowed' from the comic, but bears no relation to that arc.

Didn't Stark create Ultron in the Next Avengers, Heroes of Tomorrow?
Ultrons ninth incarnation was because of Stark, who personally rebuilt him but as far as being created for the first time, he didn't.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

If he doesn't pull directly from the original, original story line, I won't be bothered. If it works in this universe than it works. Comic book movies pull from tons of different variations of the comics over the years. This will be no different.

In the comics his suit gained sentience and fell in love with him, refusing to let him go.

With the way Disney amalgamates various characters i can easily see them butchering Ultrons Pym origins and using their resident cash cow engineering genius to create him instead

I could actually see this being Jarvis gone mad you know, in IM3 Stark really only controlled one suit when he was in one but Jarvis ran the rest so what's stopping Jarvis going sentient and wanting to knock off the world?

Jarvis falls in love with Loki. :rotfl

Everyone loves Loki. :rotfl

Oh yeah! I called it! My guess is that Hank created the Ultron robots after what happened in New York and now they will rebel against it on the second movie! I'm sooooooooooo ready for this!

Pretty sure they will introduce Ant-Man on Avengers 2 and have his movie on phase 3. Makes sense, right?
