Would also be a perfect lead in for a God of Thunder style. Man, if they had done the God-killer **** would be ****ed.
I KNOOOOOW! :thud: unfortunately, they already did an all-black the necrosword type weapon with the aether and the *******ized Malekith, such a wasted oportunity, I hope Ragnarok brings us a Thor worthy of epic viking songs, Age of Ultron already gave us a taste of that.

I want my 3 hours and 15 minute cut of AOU. :(

I would not mind that at all.

Renner tells Zap2it while promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron that the Hawkeye we meet in this movie is a little closer to the one he was promised when he signed up, but that there may be even more secrets still to come.

“We did speak together about some of his stories and secrets, and they just couldn’t be implemented into the first one. It just didn’t have room for it. Even the backstory stuff and secrets revealed in this one weren’t quite the ones we talked about. I still can’t talk those because they can still happen, and they’re just as cool — even more so now.”

Yeah, what was up with that conversation with his wife about the Avengers needing Hawkeye? That never actually paid off, or was the talk with Wanda supposed to be the pay off?

The same for Black Widow, fans of the BW should be more than grateful for actually giving her a more important role than she actually is, without actually turning her into a trope.

What are you talking about? BW is the only one in the team with two guns. It's not like soldiers, swat teams, special forces have guns and self-defense training. She's unique, man! And Hawkeye has like.... 15 arrows. That's 15 robots or Aliens he can't take down by himself. :monkey3

:lol I actually like Renner now that he took a stand on the BW joke, plus his little rivalry with QS was awesome.

"nooobody would know" :lol

I'm with you there. That role would make a lot of sense for him, similar to Green Arrow in the Justice League at times past (or maybe Batman, but Batman's so awesome that it's really not fair to consider him a mere mortal who can act on the behalf of other mere mortals)--that he could help ground the team, and keep them losing sight of the regular humans that they are all really supposed to be protecting. Because even the other "regular humans" on the Avengers aren't normal. Stark is a super genius and Black Widow is one of the most awesome spies in the history of the world or whatever. But there was not payoff to that at all. Maybe they're playing the long game and we'll see more of that in Civil War, though.

You're right in that BW didn't do any spying in AOU, but in Avengers they sent her in to work her spy magic on Loki, and it worked brilliantly.

Plus they sent her in to get the "Big Guy" because of her skills.

Just those 2, so you're mostly right. :lol
