Ang Lee's Hulk is hard to watch once he busts out of the water tank.
Well that's my point--Black Widow isn't even close to a normal human in these movies. Hawkeye is the the closest we see. I just read this, which echoes some of my thoughts, particularly regarding Tony Stark. They were obviously trying to develop a story arc for him, but ultimately he didn't learn anything. Or shouldn't have, considering that his obsession with doing "too much" to save the earth led to the development of Vision. You're right in that BW didn't do any spying in AOU, but in Avengers they sent her in to work her spy magic on Loki, and it worked brilliantly.
Plus they sent her in to get the "Big Guy" because of her skills.
Just those 2, so you're mostly right.
Ang Lee's Hulk is hard to top once he busts out of the water tank.
There, fixed it for you.
The idea that Banner always had anger control issues that just manifest themselves physically via the Hulk is an interesting idea. Did they infer child abuse in that movie? I haven't seen it in years, so I can't recall all the details. Giant mutant poodles, dust cloud Absorbing Man daddy, and comic panels come to life weren't great though, IMO.

It took two viewings, but Quint finally formed an opinion on Avengers: Age of Ultron! - Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
On a related note, the Vision awakening scene showed several of the Avengers duking it out with each other, which initially seemed to foreshadow Civil War. But once Thor arrived they all stopped fighting, and just went about their merry way as if nothing had happened between them.
I bet Nolte was ad-libbing (and probably drunk while he was doing it). I bet Lee is the kind of director who will let something like that just happen. And Nolte is a talented and seasoned actor, who just happened to be bat-**** crazy by the time that film was made.Anti military-government spewing hatred from lunatic Nolte.
That movie certainly is an odd one.
Thanos should be in the end credits of every movie made from here on out, everything!
Dramas, Comedies, no matter, place Thanos at the end dammit!
