After 2 weeks Avengers Age of Ultron is showing at least twice as much at my local theaters as Mad Max. When Pacific rim came out I asked the manager why it was being shown only three times a day when Grown Ups 2 was being shown in 2 theaters, once every two hours. He told me that some movies get spotlighted to make more money than others.

They filmed a scene from that movie (possibly the climax) in a park down the road from my house, on one of my jogging paths. It was a constructed, outdoor performance area. I've got no interest in that movie, but will probably watch it one of these days just to see that scene.

£10? What a steal. Too bad you felt it was wasted.

Which brings me back to the ticket price talk. Maybe this will make some of you guys feel better

I switched these to 2D RPX, which were still the same price. Go figure

Oh let's not forget the extra three bucks that Fandango charges for my convenience

LOL that's outrageous I paid 5.75 here in South Dakota but the theater is a non IMAX. My popcorn and Pepsi Max was 12.50 thought!! I rubbed buttered popcorn all over my face it is delicious

I loved AOU only one viewing and it rocked! I even loved the part when Pa Kent saved the dog and died by the sharknado!

Vision will be in Civil War? Do you think him holding the hammer was just comic relief of will he eventually use it for Thor in future movies? They could play catch with it while whacking baddies.

I was thinking that they will kill off another major hero soon my bet was on War Machine just because Hollywood cant handle more than one African America in a non Madea movie :rotfl I love the multi cultural aspect of the Avengers we have a God, Artificial Intelligence, A kid from Brooklyn, Two female Russian immigrant, Two African American Soldiers, a pompous Billionaire, and a farm boy Archer :clap We need some Korean or Chinese heroes WTF Marvel!!!!!

These guys have become more diverse than the X-Men and Queens put together!

That poor kid from Brooklyn. You'd figure the world's greatest soldier would get paid a little better. I hear he's looking at places in the South Bronx

:lol :lol

I'm Captain America, i'm here for my food stamps. :lol

I guess it was meant as a scathing metaphor on how veterens are treated post service.

If any superhero moved into my building, I think I'd move out. :lol Especially one with no secret identity.

:lol

It'd be like, "sweet, no one will ever dare burglarize this building!" and then "but it COULD be targeted by a supervillain's intercontinental missile at any moment..."

Ah, good stuff.

"Hey, did you hear that doofus in 4a is Spiderman?! I mean can you- Hey, where you going?"

"Gotta go get my deposit back!"

"Sure Mr. Rogers, you can lease this unit."

"Ah, cool. So, it's first and last month's rent plus one month security deposit?"

"Actually, no, I'm afraid we'll need the cost of the ENTIRE building as a deposit, and all businesses within a three block radius..."
