I think it says:

"Watch as the Avengers battle Ultron Kaiju menace with pee from singing school girls".

I could be slightly off though.
LOL Mothra vs. those big alien dragon things from the first Avengers, please.

Someone said that they prefer story in Japan
Then this movie probably won't do too well in Japan. . .

Well they definitely don't give a crap about the Avengers or any other superheroes. Not a single cbm to be found in their Top 28 all time box office:

List of highest-grossing films in Japan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spirited Away #1, Avatar is only #9. Go Japan. :yess:

Can anyone interpret what the black writing says going down both sides?

The tittle says, Avenging Warriors 2: Age of Hawkeye saga, and on the sides it says "Clint Barton....", "the American Samurai warrior is back!" The tiny purple letters just say, "Featuring Hulk Hogan" :lol He's very popular in Japan.

I would be curious to see an all-time ranking accounting for inflation, as surely Kurosawa would be high up on that list somewhere. But movies about drama and relationships clearly seem to trump others there. Miyazaki is killing it.

I don't think they got it wrong, it's just what sells over there I guess. I bet that when Jeremy Renner goes to Japan he's huge and he's like, "So this is what it feels like to be RDJ everywhere else in the world!" :lol

Imagine how awesome that poster is for the actors playing his wife and kids. You know that sucker is getting framed and hung in at least three people's homes. :lol

I had a one second cameo in 2000's "Men of Honor" starring Robert Deniro and Cuba Gooding Jr. I need to check Google to see if I made the Japanese poster, lol.

Linda Cardellini's big return to film!

In Japan, Fury Road is a tragedy about a father (Immortan Joe) who must rescue his family from the dark forces of the Wasteland... but he goes too far.

Japanese poster for the first Avengers. Wow, they really CAN'T stand the sight of the Hulk over there. :lol

And I love how they tried to portray Nick Fury as having some sort of alter ego.

Maybe it's a metaphor , like Hulk is a shadow of his former self :lol Thor is just wearing casual clothing for some reason? :lol
