Yeah, today I realized that I saw AoU in 3D (same screening place as Ant-Man) and it was totally unmemorable. Not that Ant-Man really benefitted much from it either. The shrinking into oblivion could have been so much wilder.

I don't care about 3D...I saw AoU in 3D, because it was the only version with reserved sitting. I always end up with eyes fatigue...

I was asked this but didn't know the answer so maybe someone here might? Who was the woman who had a kid in Slovakia (the one that Hawkeye/Quicksilver save) who was heavily featured in the beginning and at the end and why was she featured so much? Relation to a cast member or producer/director/crew?

I don't think she's necessarily anybody relevant outside the film or even in it, they just wanted to give the mother/son pair enough screen time so you'd be a bit more concerned when they're put in danger.

Her name is Dominique Provost-Chalkley. The character she plays is Zrinka. She's one of several middle-eastern actors/actresses hired for that scene. As to why she's featured so much (more so than the rest).. well, two reasons..

She's Age of Ultron's version of the waitress from the first movie that they kept showing for some reason. Just gives a pedestrian pov of everything going on. I'm just happy Whedon's gone.

:lol :lol :lol

I wish they would release an extended with that scene inserted back in.

This scene gives additional character depth to Cap and also explains why focus was placed on this waitress.

Great stuff

I'll be honest, I liked every other scene except for that one :lol

They cut out some great Cap moments. I'd be down for this extended version, but not Age of Ultron, I don't want to see more scenes with them on the farm.

Everything they've deleted from the original cut of "The Avengers" could elevate that film from OK to GOOD. Everything they've deleted from "The Winter Soldier" could explain some things about the plot and characters, yet one long and pointless scene of Rogers and Natasha searching for underground bunker was left.

Marver-Disney are ****ed up in their heads.

Problem is they seem to come up with 3-4 hours worth of material for all of these movies and there's definitely need for editing which leads to poor choices.

I do wonder what Age of Ultron would have been like if the studio hadn't pushed for ties to the next MCU films, you'd think they'd have learned from Iron Man 2. Granted, I like both movies but you can feel some pieces force into them. The Avengers movies should be about culminating the films leading up for each phase, the first Avengers did nothing to blatantly setup Phase 2, they just built off it with Tony's PTSD and all, how it should be.
