Finally saw this yesterday. I really liked it. But I can definately see a extended cut improving this film.

Everything they've deleted from "The Winter Soldier" could explain some things about the plot and characters, yet one long and pointless scene of Rogers and Natasha searching for underground bunker was left.

Marver-Disney are ****ed up in their heads.

Yup, a bunker which keeps photographs of all its founding members and agents on the wall for everyone to identify them later...just in case, with a bunch of computers built in the 1960s that still use black and white monitors, but somehow equipped with external USB slots :lol

It was completely pointless and stupid indeed.

I'm ok with things like that.
When it comes to technology in CB my suspension of disbelief is very flexible.

Problem is they seem to come up with 3-4 hours worth of material for all of these movies and there's definitely need for editing which leads to poor choices.

I do wonder what Age of Ultron would have been like if the studio hadn't pushed for ties to the next MCU films, you'd think they'd have learned from Iron Man 2. Granted, I like both movies but you can feel some pieces force into them. The Avengers movies should be about culminating the films leading up for each phase, the first Avengers did nothing to blatantly setup Phase 2, they just built off it with Tony's PTSD and all, how it should be.

Yes, I would have liked something mentioned about the events in Iron Man 3 that lead to Tony destroying all of his suits. It's all really swept under the rug in AoU, Tony just went right back on to making more armours and obviously worked on Hulkbuster with Banner.

In AOU, Tony at least alluded to someone blowing up his house which happened in IM3 haha

Tony did say to Pepper that he was only whittling down his distractions when he blew up all those armors, leaving open the possibility that he'd make more but just not as many.

Banner is present in the after-credits of IM3, giving them plenty of time to work on Veronica but seeing some indication that they were working on stuff in that scene such as blueprints would've been cool.

As far a I can tell, he got back into the game after SHIELD fell in Winter Soldier which was a driving force in the team's reassembly.

Age of Ultron does contradict Iron Man 3 a bit which is unfortunate. Tony built his various armors out of PTSD, well that same motivation is what led to the Iron Legion, he's still building suits and machines to protect the world. If there were no Iron Legion, then Tony in AOU would feel like a continuation of Tony from Iron Man 3. He only has 2 suits in the movie, and we know how quick Tony can have a new one built so it's easily conceivable for his 2nd suit to have been built only after Ultron came to existence and necessitated it. Veronica is about Banner and nothing more so there's nothing out of character to have developed that.

Iron Legion is just a new version of dozens of new Mark suits, only difference being Jarvis controls them and they're not suits Tony can wear.

Apple just announced an implant where you don't even need to view the film, you will just feel like you've seen it.

The feeling that I've already watched a mediocre threat rise, heroes respond with some action sequences that are both inspired yet by the numbers, the bad guy is defeated while teasing a greater mediocre threat on the horizon? I think I might have already gotten that implant. :lol

I just watched it again... Or tried to at least...

"Everyone creates the things they dread.... People create... Smaller people?....... Children! lol I lost the word there"
"I've come to save the world, but also... Yeah..."
"Clearly you've never made an omelet"
"He beat me by one second"
:yuck:yuck:yuck

Arrowguy backstory, BW/H forced romance and forced drama. Couldn't care any less.

Story is okay, other than Ultron sucking hard. Action is very good, CGI was inconsistent.

But god damn that dialog is harder and harder to endure, definitely not gonna sit through a 3rd time.

Vision is still the best part of the movie and the best character of the MCU imo, it almost seems he wasn't written by Whedon.

This movie is probably one of the worst movies in the MCU, yet it has my favorite scene of the entire thing, along with his creation scene.

The treatment of Thor and the Black Widow/Hulk relationship kinda killed this movie for me but Cap and Vision were great.
