Yup, the man can do no wrong in Nam’s eyes.

Which is exactly why I was more than vocal about Cap's dildo helmet and the phantom menace ending. :exactly: :goodpost: :cuckoo:

The reality is, pretty much every one of us (with the exception of maybe Josh), universally agreed that those things specifically, were suckass, and didn't defend it to the death like the decisions were Einstein-level genius and god's gift to cinema and anybody who disagreed were hate-mongering trolls. :wink1:

FYI, Nova, when you post like that, you let others know it's your alt acount. :lol

I’m starting to think you are obsessed with Nova.

I love it when Nam gets labeled as the "bad guy" even though his stated opinions have been conveniently forgotten.

Some folks here must suffer from amnesia secondary to traumatic brain injury after being exposed to X-Men First Class costume photos. :lol

Must be Nam's lot in life, dealing with flung hypocrisy like chimp **** in Kathmandu. :lol

Nam is Spiderman. Everyone else is J Jonah Jameson! :horror :panic:

Nam saves baby from burning building. Headline reads: Nam starts fire!with baby inside! :lol

Nah, that's Jawa. :lecture
I thought I was obsessed with CelticP.

Please stop supporting him Jye, you're better than that.

I wouldn't say Nam is like Spiderman. ironically enough with Jye's post and avatar.... but Nam is more like the Hulk. he is the good guy, but he smashes everything around him :lol

Whedon has his fair share of source material derailing, but don't expect any complaints about it :lol

The sad thing about Singer's X-Men is just how boring and uninventive it is (or, at least, how it appears to be, at this point). I grew-up on Spider-Man and X-Men and by the '90s it was by far my favourite franchise, in part because of the great design and riveting stories (AOA being the pinnacle, for me). Yet, here we are in 2014 and I'm more exited by a 2 second Guardians of the Galaxy tease, Age of Ultron teaser and The Winter Soldier trailer (and I never read Avengers, GotG or Cap regularly at any point in my life).

What you call boring, I call character development. The first 2 X-Men movies were really good, especially for the time they came out in.

Don't gas him up bro. More like he's a good guy but like somthing he doesn't and it's war time.

When Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits the big screen on April 4, it will mark Scarlett Johansson's third big screen appearance as Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff. That will soon be followed by a fourth, Avengers: Age of Ultron, in 2015. According to Total Film's new interview with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige (via Comic Book Movie), the much-anticipated sequel will feature a "very big" role for the character. What's more, he teases that a Black Widow solo film may be the next step for the character.

"We learn more about her past," Feige says of the Joss Whedon sequel, "and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film. The notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that."

Of course, Black Widow is going to first have to make it through the events of The Winter Soldier, which Feige promises is a game-changer for the MCU.

"We wanted to change the dynamic of the cinematic universe with this film," Feige continues. "We wanted Cap and really the entire cinematic universe to be very different at the end of 'Winter Soldier' than it is at the beginning. Therefore, when we meet the Avengers at the top of 'Age of Ultron,' it's a very different landscape than we left them at the end of the first film. Partially that's because we love the rhythm that the comic books have developed. Each of the characters appear in their runs, occasionally they get together for a big event or crossover series, they part again, and then they come back together again."

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.

:goodpost: You just summed it up exactly the way I feel too. I lived on Spider-Man and X-Men. Never intrigued by Avengers or Ironman, not to mention anything close to GotG. But Marvel deserves a ton of credit making all of this happen with their B list (so to speak) characters.

Ask Josh if I've ever "warred" with him over him really digging the dildo helmet. He'll tell ya, "nope!" :lol

As a matter of fact, IrishJedi and I had a pretty thorough debate over the clone helmet... same deal there.

Wash rinse repeat for dozens of members.

But then if we look at the actual reason why, it's because they've never trolled one of my posts acting like reading what I said will absolutely destroy the movie for them, claiming they don't get why I watch something I hate and how it's impossible for me to see the good aspects of something and should just go enjoy the originals if I feel the way I do and "GTFO" of the thread because I don't share their opinion. :wink1:

To me, the only real game changer I can think of would be actually killing someone off. And I don't mean a Coulson, I mean like a Thor or Hawkeye type character - an actual Avenger. I'm really hoping this will have an Empire Strikes Back kind of ending - where the bad guys actually win.

Hawkeye DEFINITELY......
