One thing that I have been concerned with is how War Machine/Iron Patriot will be in this movie. I have not been able to find any definite answer whether it will be Iron Patriot or the War Machine Armor. This concerns me when it comes to completing the collection. I am not sure if they will release a War Machine or Iron Patriot for this film. Looking at the new Hasbro toys it seems that the War Machine armor will be what is used. If this is the case, I can not decide if I should just go ahead and pick up 2.0 War Machine for my Avengers 2 collection or wait an see. I may be missing something, and if anyone has any input into this matter, please let me know.
Don't worry, he'll be there on his motorcycle.

Just saw the WM pic from Hasbro, hopefully that does mean Rhodes is suiting up and in the WM livery instead of IP. The gauntlet shown in the trailer does look a bit bulkier than the Mk2 forearm, maybe they made some revisions but definitely looks like it's fairly similar to the Mk2. Personally I'm hoping they bulk up the Mk2 for AoU, looks too sleek to be WM.

:lol

I was reading a theory that Marvel doesn't have marketing rights for QS and SW. Which is why they're MIA in promos and figures.

Thoughts?

The stands last week debunks that theory. Also, since HT said there will be some surprises in the AOU line, I wonder if we'll see figures of

Loki and Heimdall

since they're gonna make an appearance.

Not the case. If they can put them in a movie they can market them. Also, they can market spiderman, F4, and xmen if they wanted to. They own the characters. The film rights on those three are murky at best, but they can still market the non movie versions. And if the characters are able to make it into a marvel film (as of now) they have 100% of the rights. Both movie and otherwise.

They could theoretically market the three other examples I stated, even the movie versions, the only thing they would need to have a contract on with the other studios is profits and content. But all of those films do in fact have marketing deals with the studios where marvel could market them as well

I'm not fussed if they use him or not BUT if they do I really hope they make a decent character of him as Sony have failed in that respect really.

I forgot, you grew up in the '00s. :lol

Hey I've seen Top Gun, but no I don't get the reference :lol

Loki and Heimdall

Not until Ragnorak, and even then Heimdall is a maybe

Sony should sell the rights to Spidey, then maybe they could recuperate some of that Interview investment and Lawsuits from the leaks money :rotfl

They probably should, they've failed to make something of the character so selling it back to Marvel might be for the best, I certainly think Marvel wouldn't need to do a reboot to create interest in new films.

If they get it back I would like to see 1 solo movie before throwing him into the Avengers..... and a new actor
