Whatever it is, it's THE most hideous Iron Man anything I've ever seen. Eww.

Oh yeah what about this...

im_vehicles_vortexcar_red.jpg

...because Iron Man really needs a car to get around in.

I wouldn't write that armor off as an Iron Legion drone........I'm thinking it's gonna pop up in Avengers 2 because of this pic(maybe this is Mark 45)......but yeah, HIDEOUS.

It's in the trailer. They are manufactured to assist the Avengers in operations presumably against Hydra cells...hence the chest logo.

Those Titan figures make anything look nasty. They will look better in the movie naturally.

The whole "MK45" thing is just a typo in the Lego publication...that's the only source as far as I know.

I had a dream SW and QS were only in the film for 10 minutes.

That would certainly explain their lack of marketing.
:horror

nah! I think they will be involved heavily in the story. The lack of marketing may just be down to their crappy uninspired costumes. Although we are now only seeing Vision stuff. I say give it time

I highly doubt it... It looks different than mk43... it has a hexagonal chest hole for the arc reactor, the lego mk43 does not. Plus I doubt they would publish the same typo more than once, and in multiple languages.

Also, just because some toys aren't movie accurate doesn't mean they all aren't. Thats just one dimensional thinking.

I think while SW and QS will have a big impact in the movie, I say they will still only have limited amount of screen time. Same with the HB, same with Strucker, and same with whoever Serkis is playing.

That could just as easily be a result of the chest plate getting ripped off at some point in the film, exposing the internals. There will be soooo much happening with soooo many characters that fitting in a third Iron Man suit (after MK43 and Hulk Buster and on top of an army of robot drones and several iterations of robot Ultron) seems completely unlikely to me.

Your second point is unclear.

If the chest got ripped off as you said then it would it have the same paint on the chest. It would be wires and under structure. I don't think that's tye reason.

And I also think the 43 and 45 are both in the movie. One is the "production" version of the 42, as it was a proto in IM3. And he 45 is the updated ultron proof suit. The one shielded against him taking control. From what I have heard of the movie.

No doubt. :duff

Man I hate this auto correct on top of my fat thumbs. Sorry my grammar and spelling is lacking. Stupid words...

The Hulkbuster assembles remotely around the mark 43... So you're telling me you think Iron Man will only have one main suit for this entire movie? THAT is unlikely... take a closer look:

Doesn't look like anything is ripped off to me. And how do you explain the grey on the jaw line of the helmet? That is definitely NOT mark 43... It's also worth noting that while Lego makes some sets that are loosely based on the movies, they have never made a random non-canon Iron Man armor from movie based sets just for the hell of it.

Does anyone remember the 1st version of the 1st AOU trailer (can't find it now)...the leaked one maybe? It had Iron Man flying into, the HulkBuster from above. From what we've seen, pieces are still flying onto HB after IM dropped into it.

In one of the lego set previews, it mentions a MK.45. Can't find the image again but it didn't look super different. Might be a minor visual upgrade like mk.5 to 6.

It never showed Mark 43 fly into it. It showed the Hulkbuster with pieces flying onto it with 43 already inside with its head peeking out.

That is, unless you saw a different trailer.

That's what I mean. What we see now is IM already in HB with some pieces flying on. What I saw was right before that. HB was already there, IM flys in and then cut to what we see now with him in HB with some pieces flying on.
I remember seeing it with my son, because I asked him, "wasn't that cool, Iron Man's new suit, flying into Hulkbuster like that?"
Maybe I dreamt it. Yesterday I was best friends with a Lion & went to see Queen do their sound check, while an 80's Freddie Mercury played the piano and told jokes.
