I am just ready for the next PO to come up. As long as it is not Thor, Hulk(have TDW and Avengers versions) or Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver(no desire to own) I am down to buy something.


I am with Ronri and I think the final/"ultimate" Ultron is the one we have been seeing in the trailers.

I am limiting myself to 1 Iron Man in the collection. Cap and Batman are the only characters where I will own more than 1 version. Maybe Wolverine as I like the DOFP costume even if all he did in it was take a nap.

I've been hoping they'll put the Batman Returns version of Michael Keaton's Batman up for preorder, that'd be great to have.

I am dying to have that one. I didn't get the 89 version, because I prefer the Returns Suit. With Avengers coming soon, and Batman v Superman coming next year, I need them to either release Returns now, or wait. Are you picking up the Arkham Batman?

Plus I am waiting on Falcon and the Cap 2-pack to get off the docks. My marvel section is growing now. AOU figs will be the basis for my whole Avengers line up.

I prefer Michael Keaton's Batman suit to that of the new one, I never got the 89 version though because the retailer I preordered from didn't get enough stock or over sold..., I'll be buying the Returns version direct to save this problem..., I wouldn't mind a Val Kilmer Batman figure either but that'll be it for me unless the Ben Afleck suit looks impressive.

Don't know what folks are talking about with "Ultron Prime" having a different design but it just looks like an exaggerated version of the same form we've seen in trailers for a while now:

So uh yeah, don't wanna burst people's bubble but judging by that photo, it seems like "Ultron Prime" is just referring to Ultron's main (and possibly final) form. You know the same one we've been seeing in the trailers? Yeah that one.

I think people are just forgetting that Ultron still has the red glow in his mouth, it's just not as obvious since the lighting in his core seems to fluctuate depending on his speech/emotions now. Heck even in my avatar and sig, the sides of his mouth are glowing.

There are two different final versions right now. Ultimate Ultron and Ultron Prime. Ultimate Ultron has a completely different design. Head is a completely different shape, different eye socket and the body design is also different. It looks like Ultimate Ultron is the version we've seen in all the trailers and Ultron Prime is the one we haven't seen yet.

I also just noticed that Vision seems to be colored different in the Lego sets than he is in the FUNKO stuff. In Lego he has the green and yellow costume, while the Funko sets are grey.

Funko painted him incorrectly it seems. Much like how they're painting the exclusive Hulk grey for the sake of making it an exclusive variation.

We have already had the Mark 43 1/6th so I would rather they put up someone else, my first choice would be Cap, if not him then Hawkeye, the Hulk Buster and 45 (if there is one, I think there will be) wont be until much later.

I should have done that with Iron Man, I already have 2 and by then end of the year its going to be at least 4! I can imagine at least adding a Mark 6 in die cast and most likely the Mark 45 as well as the Civil War version. The old rule I had was no duplications of the same character by the same actor but I let that slide with Iron Man early. I think I may end up with 2 Chris Evans Caps though as I let the Stealth version slide and was too late to pick the others up at retail prices (my other current rule) but I would hedge my bets that I will want both big players from Cap 3.

Same here, although with AoU, the Mark 3 and just paying for a Dark Knight Armory money wise I should wait patiently!

Back to AoU, I really hope Cap is next as I am tempted to get a WS Rogers head sculpt and empty cowl while they are available on Ebay as I am betting they wont have even the HS with the next release which I really want the option for.

I ordered the Stealth Cap 2 pack, and I am getting AOU Cap as I like the look of the Costume, and Cap is my favorite Marvel Character after Black Panther. As far as Iron Man goes, I am trying to stick with only the Mark 43, but the Mark 6 or 7 in diecast would be tempting. I hope they put up Hawkeye, Ultron, or Cap next. I would even settle for Widow. I am still on the fence as far as Vision goes. I have no real attachment to the comic character, so he will have to wow me in the movie for me to bite on him.

Actually I think Brainiac and Hologram AI are right. I just checked the designs and compared them with the other Lego sets. I stand corrected, it seems like "Ultimate Ultron" will actually be our sig (the Mk 3) and seems to indicate the final act (it includes Vision after all).

In this regard, I have a VERY strong feeling that the "Ultron Prime" is actually the Mk 2 since it's designed similarly to the sentries. Designating him under the "Prime" title serves to distinguish Ultron from the rest of his army, which could mean that it's the design from the EW cover (which looks similar to the drones).

Fingers crossed that the EW cover design gets some pretty decent screentime then.

Ultron Prime is actually the one in your sig. You can tell by the chest design on the lego set. Look at it carefully and then look at the chest design on the Ultron version below. You can see that they're the same.

HT just needs to release the official specs for there version and we would get our answer.

You don't go from smooth/curved/shiny to sharp/clunky/robust for a final form. Time and again, Ultron's strongest forms in the comics have been the ones with the more humanoid designs and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've been checking various blogs that are analyzing the Lego sets and some have also noted that Ultron Prime is color-coded under the same dark gray as the Ultron Sentries (drawing the connection to the EW cover even closer) whereas Ultimate Ultron is color-coded with a lighter gray (drawing further connections to the shiny silver look of the one in my sig).

I hope this is correct, I've had this feeling for a while since the lego pics were first released. I knew the EW cover had to mean we'd see that Ultron in the film, cause all the drones in the background of that pic had blue lighting. I've believed all along that the EW cover Ultron will be the one orchestrating the Ultron army fight against the avengers where we start to see all the drones jumping out of the water and climbing buildings is where this Ultron will come in.

The drones in the Comic Con poster have red lights, anyway I think it will be like this
Mk1: Ultron

Mk2: Ultron Prime

Mk3: Ultimate Ultron.... (Prime but Vibranium)

My theory on the EW cover is that its the second form of drone.... if its an Ultron form then I don't think its his final form, it looks very exposed in terms of its armor. It also looks exactly like a regular drone and may be confusing for audiences
