I really miss EMH... everytime i'm upset or sad, I watch a few episodes (usually ones with ultron or zemo) and it makes me feel a lot better.
Avengers Assemble isn't terrible, I watch every new episode when it aires but it doesn't have the flawless flow of EMH... I hope someday someone wants to continue the series. Also Wolverine and the X-Men. They were about to start an Age of Apocalypse storyline and then it got cancelled.

Zemo was great on EMH, I hope they use some of that character for the movie version

On a similar note, Spectacular Spider-Man > Ultimate Spider-Man.

Seriously, the writers of that show knew how to write a coherent story and actually, you know, develop characters (including supporting characters!) I'd even argue that Spectacular Spider-man is the best iteration of Spider-Man I've ever seen in my life, it's literally the equivalent of Batman: The Animated Series only for Spider-Man. Of course I know Spectacular was doomed from the start since it was a Sony-produced animated series (and with the move to Disney, they essentially became competitors), but I just seriously dislike how Marvel/Disney has to streamline everything across their various media just to emulate the MCU. Let the MCU stay in the MCU, don't cancel shows that are actually good just to feed on the hype machine.

I actually just watched the complete series of Spectacular a few months ago and I finally saw why people missed it so much. It was so damn good! Like, hell I wish we had a live action show and just made that part of the MCU. They didn't even have to go through his origin in the beginning and wonderfully called back to the origin in all the Venom stuff since that's how the symbiote works anyway. It was a seriously fantastically written and executed show. I get it now you guys. I just hope Disney helps handles Spidey as well as Spectacular Spidey did.

Got me on a nostalgia trip with EMH now :lol

New image of Hawkeye :yess:

I'm still thinking Hawkeye will be my only other Avenger character I buy, can't really say any others speak to me. I obviously like Cap, Thor & Black Widow, etc..., but not enough to buy. :)

Yep, I'm preordering Hawkeye as soon as it hits, and Vision :lecture

POed Cap, but still not sure...

I will say Marvel's gotten every AoU costume design down pat with the exception of Quicksilver, but I assume he'll get a better outfit in future films. Also hard to really consider SW's outfit a costume. Lastly, I'm not a huge fan of Ultron Prime's design but if the Ultron Ultimate rumor pans out, that may be his saving grace.

Yeh he's going to be my 3rd and (at the moment at least) final figure from AoU joining Cap and the 43. For now I am going to be saving my money towards possible Civil War and Bats vs Sups buys... For now [emoji2]

I wish you had not mentioned those movies. They don't exist OK. THEY DON'T!!!!! :cuss
and IF they do there will be NO FIGURES!!!!!! :cuss

AOU is all there is :lecture

Yeah, by knowing the future movies that are coming, there's a sense of "it can wait" for a lot of this stuff for me.

I'm not even considering Scarlet Witch or Quicksilver - no matter how much I like them - from this movie because they'll get costumes in future movies. Since one version is all I would consider getting, I'll wait. It's the reason why I'm not pressed about passing on TWS Falcon, because with Civil War, it's practically a guarantee he'll have a more specific uniform. If I still want him when it rolls around, I'll get the one with the costume.

There's so many Iron Mans and so many of the movie suits look so similar, there's no excitement for me in that character anymore. My favorite is still the Mark IV. Widow looks so similar to Avengers Widow and her costume isn't as cool, no excitement for me there either. And so on, and so on...

Bucky is my only given, as my favorite character alongside Loki. I have TWS Bucky, I'll get Civil War Bucky and if Bucky becomes Cap, I'll get that one too.

Overall, though, minus fave characters, there's a lack of urgency in me with the MCU stuff, as much as I adore it and think the figures are amazing.....because they're going to milk this cow til the legs collapse and keep going until the body shrivels up. By the time you get a figure from AOU they'll be showing you a version from Civil War, and by the time you get that one.....

I admire the patience. I see a lot of collectors being selective and I wish I had that willpower :lol

Being selective is not something I'm good at. For me its less about having specific versions of characters and more about having figures from a certain movie and completing the line as much as possible. Falcon, for example, if theres going to be a Civil War version then I will get that because I want figures from that movie and it won't matter to me if I have TWS Falcon because thats from TWS and its separate.

I was just looking around for more pictures of the AoU minimates and I decided to pick up the comic AoU sets for s&g... Now I read through the entire comic story for AoU up until a few issues into Avengers A.I. and for the life of me I don't remember seeing "conqueror" ultron with 6 arms. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing a silver ultron at all, only the gold "drones"... Did I miss something important or did they make this up for the set?
