The really interesting thing about this movie to me is:

1. At the end of Thor 2, Thor came back to Earth to be with Jane.
2. At the end of IM3, Tony blew up his suits to be with Pepper.
3. At the end of Cap 2, Cap and Falcon ran off to find Bucky.

How is it that all three of them come back together so quickly, and Jane Pepper and Bucky are nowhere to be found?

Maaaan I've been pondering this myself. There's so much story needed to bridge the gap between those earlier Phase 2 movies and this one.

As soon as they got together in the first film, they parted and then had their own adventures with the only overlap being Stark as a target at Avengers tower by one of the Insight helicarriers in Winter Soldier.

Hopefully the rumored length of the movie gives them time to address this.

I'd say the reason Falcon is there is because he will be shown with Cap looking for Bucky somewhere or on a mission
I'd say War Machine does not end up in the movie because Tony asks him to protect Pepper somewhere safe
and I could care less about Jane :lol I hope Ultron snaps her neck

Why no love for Jane then? lol :)

I hate Jane in the movies so much. I remember reading rumors that she was gonna quit being an astrophysicist at the end of The Dark World and become a nurse like how she was in the comics and would also have lead to a Stephen Strange cameo. XD Comic Jane > MCU Jane any day. The character is just a much stronger character than how she's written in the MCU as well. EMH had a good interpretation of her. I like how she was an EMT there.

I agree completely. Yes the EMH Jane was perfect.
I didnt mind Portman's portrayal in the first movie(only slightly annoying)... but she really sucked in TDW. So much so that she ruined the entire movie. I don't think she will be back

I think the main thing that bugs me about the Thor/Jane relationship in the movies is that they are just so damn gaga over each other. I never bought their relationship at all. Even Odin shipped Thor and Sif in the beginning of TDW. XD

You know I always wondered why I really wanted to like TDW but there was something about it I just couldn't enjoy. Now I realize it is in fact Jane. The first word in the title of the movie is Thor and yet Jane stood out more as lead than he did. Lets hope Ragnarock is the best of the trilogy.

Ragnarok should stay away from Earth. I personally think that TDW is the worst MCU a film so far.

Tom is the only saving grace for me. I mean, the movie isn't X3 or Ghost Rider bad but it's the one I can't watch over and over again like the other ones. Just didn't like the story or how they completely butchered Malekith as a baddie.

Thank god Chris Yost, who wrote for EMH (Including the Beta Ray Bill episode) and a few comics is writing Ragnarok. Kevin said that this movie is gonna be the Winter Soldier of Phase 3 and I hope to god he's right.

The most interesting thing about this poster to me is how Cap is front and center and is given the most space. Contrast this with the first Avengers movie's poster, where Cap was decidedly in the background and relatively smallish. The Winter Soldier certainly did wonders for Cap's rep among superhero movie fans. I also like how he isn't wearing a helmet. Evans looks better without the helmet, and of course it matches his helmet-less look throughout the majority of the Winter Soldier.

That makes me like Odin even more :lol Thor's a fool :rotfl

I seen his name on IMDB for Ragnorak but it just said (comic book) beside it, has he been confirmed for writing it?

Got a new Iron Man poster from RDJ himself! I can't wait to see the rest of these.

Gotta say the solo poster is looking cooler than the team poster. Felt the same way with the IM3 posters too. Background is a little lacking though.
