wow, nice poster, theater I saw it at last night never has anything like that, I need one for my desk area at work.
Getting a frame for this now ha
I don't know if this had been brought up here yet, but on my second viewing I noticed that...When Tony was going through his physical files to find the FRIDAY software, one of the drives was labeled "Jacosta"

That was a really neat easter egg.Though with Ultron's personality being based on Tony, now I'm imagining Jocasta's voice being derived from Pepper.

I agree. Definitely a runaway train. Much different, less grounded vibe than the first.Caught the 7PM showing last night. Gotta say I did not like the movie as much as I thought I would. The best thing it did was set up Civil War in the undertone. Tried to cram way to much into it. From the strart to finish it felt like a runaway train (Ironic?) I could never get caught up to. I blame a lot of that on the editing.
It did however fully cement my hatred of Hawkeye. I cannot stand the character (I like Jeremy Renner). Had he died the movie would have been much better. His scenes with the family, farm was just stupid. It was so forced on you just like the Black Widow and Banner lovefest. Totally unnecessary, why couldn't Fury have been on the farm and that's it?
The fact so much of that movie was written for him really bummed me out. He is a crappy character and a third liner at best. Hell the best part was when he even said himself I'm just a guy with a bow and a arrow out here. I was like EXACTLY.
Now i'm wondering...when the end scene with Thanos took place... I would guess right after the events of GOTG... Afterall, he didn't have anything to do with the ultron situation on earth, right? So what would make him finally get up and say "I'll do it myself" after these events... curious.

So has Whedon confirmed that a Directors cut will be released? marvel hasn't done that yet from what I remember so it seems weird that they would. But it is obvious that stuff got cut and I would watch the hell out of a 3 hour + version of AoU.
Just got back from seeing AOU
Thank god I managed to dodge all the spoiler bullets and don't have to care anymore.
I thought that would have fit better in GOTG as an end-credits scene, considering how it made more sense with the story.
It really had no place in AOU other than giving us a credits scene.
That's not entirely true, though I did initially have the same thought. I see one possibility but I also see a conundrum.
Thor's vision was that there were deeper machinations going on with everything that was unfolding. Obviously Thanos has some interest in earth as he obliged Loki's war there and his interest was further piqued when at the end of the first Avengers he was told confronting the humans would bring death.
I didn't watch Agents of Shield but I think it's highly plausible that Thanos indirectly was guiding Strucker and hydra to get him the scepter back. It's unclear whether Thanos is able to reach earth without the help of Loki or a portal like the one the tesseract opens. With the mind gem on earth (and maybe another?) he may need agents to help him and have set in motion actions to unlock the mind gem.
Now... This brings up the conundrum. Far as we know the chitauri/Thanos GAVE Loki the scepter which housed the mind gem. Why? Did he need help unlocking it? Or did he not know the mind gem was housed inside the orb on the scepter? I have a feeling this may just be a plot hole.
Also... Thor said 4 gems have appeared. What others? We know about the power gem from GotG, the mind gem from AoU and... What am I forgetting?
