Super Freak
[U[lJust saw it last night and I hate to say I'm somewhat underwhelmed. The awe at seeing them all together wasn't handled right and it got really slow in the middle. Weadon usually does good with the dramatic character sequences but it was flat this time, and I can't really say for sure why. Funnily enough, the two things I was worried about most, Wanda and The Vision, turned out nice.

I think it would have been almost impossible to capture that same awe in this movie. Seeing the Avengers together for the first time was one of those 'first time seeing dinosaurs in Jurassic Park' type moments. It's so unique, historic and memorable that the feeling cannot be duplicated. I think that's why they started the movie off the way they did. I thought it was great but I had my expectations in check as well.

It would be cool if Hot Toys came out with figures of the Hydra soldiers, especially...the flight suit ones.
