Can we please just change his name to Captain Triumphant post EG :lol

I would of cried if that happened

You and me both sister lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Does JAWS like Thor 3, curious lol

The old JAWS hated it but I think he now puts it in the same category as EG.

Personally I thought EG was 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I know you'd put JAWS and Raiders and other films above some of my favorites just like AFI snobs would think we're all crazy for not having Citizen Kane, Godfather, GWTW, Lawrence of Arabia and all that.....

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I dare anyone to watch TFA now and tell me that they don't want that skinny kid to live happily ever after with that, lol.

And holy crap Tony's vision in AOU of Cap down with the broken shield next to him. :panic:

Crazy that the opposite of the vision happened.

First the term “vision” itself, yikes!

The broken shield I think also symbolized the team breaking up later on.

Then Stark ends up dying not Cap.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I thought Falcon as Cap was disappointing. His whole arc thus far, he's been very immature and impatient. I guess the role will allow him to grow.

I always thought he was a voice of sanity ("just like that, we're supposed to be cool?") But he's got Cap's back. One of my fav MCU characters. I would've been real happy with a Bucky Cap too. But I like complicated badasses like SW and WS so can't say I'm upset. More on the actor and actresses' sides if they get told they'll be doing one thing, then another, and oh u can't read the script and have to fly commercial unless u are RDJ. And don't eat burgers and be nice in public even if u are exhausted.

But srsly looking forward to these series - bye HBO!

Funny how both captain America candidates got there ass kicked by Spider-Man. Falcon better up his practice cause even cap had a lil time with my boy peter.

So there are two fan theories as to why CA couldn't lift the hammer in AOU. Number one, as soon as he realized he could lift it, he didn't to avoid embarrassing Thor. Number two, he wasn't worthy because he was withholding information from Tony about the death of his parents. Both could be right.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Anyway, I was watching the farmer Thanos death scene online, and am I the only one who feels sorry for him. Despite his victory and everything he went through, he was lonely. All alone in a modest little hut making a meal, not bothering anyone, badly injured, and those A holes gang up on him, when all he wanted to do was eat breakfast. He was defenseless. If I was one of the 50%that survives the snap, I would to love to meet Thanos, maybe join him for lunch or something in his little house. He seemed like a good, modest guy, despite some of his flaws. What the Avengers did to him in that scene was not heroic at all. :(

Both work with the characters, good stuff.

Can’t wait for the hotly anticipated WW2.

Once I start thinking of all the people who died as a result of the snap but not directly dusted for instant the people in an airplane if the pilot got snapped or a construction crane operator that got dusted and his crane kept dropped steel that crushed people or cars crashing into people or power plants and factory explosions or patients in hospitals or nursing homes left to die etc etc.

That doesn’t even count the socioeconomic impact and psychological ramifications of people being brought back from the snap.

Therefore i’m like yeah torture farmer Thanos lol

But yeah Thor flat out became The Punisher. :horror

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

MCU Avengers storyline is a ton more tragic than what Snyder was trying to pull off with his human reaction to the arrival of a brooding meta human messiah. Let kids drown wut. Tornado suicide wut.

MCU first 11 years will forever be known for Thanos, the snap, the group interactions, the humor, the end game sacrifices, the action, Cap, Avengers Assemble.

DCEU = Botox mouth Superman, EYeah AwRight, Kal-El..No and of course Sadffleck

Wait DCEU just might be more tragic afterall lol
