Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

Nope nothing actually worthwhile like that instead just the usual “Is this character really dead” for the 100th time lol

Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

My favorite question was “Can you tell us the title since this is a special night?”

Sure sure it’s called “Sit Down”.

CM is tonight, that's for sure. I can only hope A4 on Wednesday is actually true.

Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

Did anyone ask them if there are plans to allow us to see an uncropped version of the film at home?

There was this little blurb about that:

Many movie buffs were disappointed to discover that the IMAX ratio version of Avengers: Infinity War wasn't included on the Blu-ray. Based on what was said, it sounds like that decision was ultimately IMAX's, possibly because they don't want moviegoers to be able to watch movies in that format anywhere other than on their screens.

Either way, the Russos said that it's possible the ratio will be seen on home video...one day.

You know not for nothing because we’ve become so used to marvel breaking new ground that we just take for granted that they are debuting two new trailers in the same universe just 2 days apart!

Imagine debuting 2 seperate Avatar, Terminator, Predator, Alien, Die Hard or Rocky movies in the same week lol

I don't see how IMAX can have any say over what aspect ratio a film they don't own is presented at home. If they somehow do have a patent on home video 1.90:1 presentations then all the Russos have to do is crop it to 1.91:1 and just shave off 1% in order to make it different instead of the huge 26% loss to 2.35:1.

Thanks for posting though and I'm glad that the Russos themselves are acknowledging the demand for it.

Marvel giving us not one but two trailers to set the cbm fanbase abuzz in the weeks leading up to Aquaman, lol.

Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

There's additional talk that not only will the Captain Marvel trailer premier tonight, the Avengers 4 trailer on Wednesday during GMA, BUT the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer will also premier on Friday! This sounds a bit too good to be true, but Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse does open soon, and Sony will probably want to be able to run the FFH trailer with it theatrically. Add to that the fact that the Russos are attending the Gamer Awards on Thursday, and are expected to reveal the upcoming Avengers game, and this is beyond an epic week for Marvel and all of its fans. Take all of this with a gigantic grain of salt, but if things do go down like this ..... damn.
I can't help but notice some slacking with all of this. I mean, they're not doing anything for Tuesday?! Lame.

:wink1:

Maybe they can just reveal all of Phase Four on Tuesday. That would fit nicely into the week.

Holy crap jye :lol :lol

Is Spider-Man: Far From Home set after IW? It seems strange that they'd reveal his post-IW fate in a trailer prior to IW2 (not that any of us were expecting him to be gone for good but still.)

Lets see which movie excites me the most:

IW2:

Supposedly no dead characters will be shown in the trailer it will focus on the surviving.
