I liked BP more than IW. Also, Killmonger was cooler than Thanos.
I liked IM1, TWS, CW better than either. IMO those three as well as GOTG1, Cap1, Ragnarok, and Antman are better made films e.g. don't have irritating pace/editing, huge holes, and IMO the issues I had with BP and IW. I'm probably gonna enjoy Antman2 more than IW, too.
But at least BP took its characters seriously even if the CGI, fight scenes, and one large motivation was pretty questionable IMO (hey, my mom actually wanted to see BP and actually liked it, so yeah, BP broke the barrier for comic book movies with my conservative parents. They will be assimilated now into the MCU.

)
And at least BP didn't re-hash Marvel 2017. Some people got bored at BP, but I got more bored during IW *shrug*. Honestly don't get - for instance - why Drax standing around being dumb was supposed to be even remotely funny, and why time was wasted on **&^ like that. Also that whole scene was just so tired IMO. That was just one thing out of a lot, for me. (Stuff like shoehorning in Red Skull another.)
But then I got kinda turned off after GOTG2 and supposedly Gunn was involved in the Guardians lines, so guess it was more of the same. At least there wasn't 6-year old potty humor. Anyway, for me Hela is more cool, and a lot more fun to watch, than Thanos. (It's not that Brolin IMO did a bad job, but this huge Marvel villain didn't grab me as a character. Wasn't feelin' it.)
And IMO TFA is also a better-made movie than IW re consistent pace, e.g. doesn't have long periods of exposition, and then frantic battle sequences or stuff that makes no sense like the whole Starlord thing or blowing through the Wakanda battle like an afterthought - which as far as I can tell, for the Russos, it was. A showcase for one character and that's about it.
Or - if IW had been what I was hoping for, it would have had more of my money. IW2 re rumors doesn't sound much better - at least for me.

Not that there aren't some things I liked in IW, but not sure what people are going back to re-see in theaters. I didn't need to be sitting through 2017 again more or less, with some Thanos thrown in. And not having more of Team Cap (esp. w. such little time left on Evan's contract) was IMO a travesty for an "Avengers" movie.
