Between the music and everything going in the scene, Thor’s arrival is the 2nd most exciting scene in the whole MCU, scenes that no matter what give me chills every time I watch them or hear the music. Number 3 is in Age of Ultron when all the Avengers battle Utron’s army inside the church and they pan around all of them in slow mo.

Avengers 1 when Banner transforms and the team comes together in that big circling shot, something about it is always exciting when it comes, I give Silvestri a lot of credit for his music.

They did! Then after the snap... dead silence.... Even during the credits roll (where people usually murmur around), the theater was silent on all my 3 screenings. It was almost like half the theater audience turned to dust. More likely, people were in shock. :D

I think what annoyed me the most of the ending was how quickly Fury was able to grab that pager, like he had it ready to go sitting on top of his bag in the back seat.

Don't get me wrong, "Oh we're using our made up names" is a great line, but I've seen it in all the trailers, numerous times. It's not that funny the 12th time you see it, But both times I saw the movie, the audience loved that line. I guess not everyone's seen the various ads for the movie all the time ???

That joke is...ok. But there are jokes in IW that do make me laugh every time. Most of all when Peter's on the bus and feels all over Ned's head, asks for a distraction, and then he says "We're all gonna die!" LOL worthy every time.

I don't think anyone every plans jokes for longevity, you put in something that seems funny, sometimes it works only on the first viewing, sometimes it's good enough it gets quoted all the time and laughed at every viewing. I agree, the "made up names" joke loses steam each viewing, but I love "I am Groot", "I am Steve Rogers" every time.

I liked the ''You're about to take the full force of a star, it will kill you'' ''Only if I die'' ''....yes...that's...what that means''

Taika Waitti could learn a thing or two from the Russo Bros. - they can do humor that actually works and know when to tone it down. :lol

The Captain Marvel film will have some explaining to do. If she can simply be paged at the end of Infinity War it begs the question of why she has to be paged in the first place given what's been going on.

I was trying to come up with the other one that always makes me crack up! That's the one!

Dinklage's delivery was great, and he had a great accompanying facial expression.

My guess is it's because of the Avengers.

So far in the MCU, there hasn't been a threat that hasn't been met effectively by the Avengers. There hasn't been any threat that was shown to be universally dangerous as far as Fury knows prior to the Chitauri invasion. The Avengers were able to effectively combat that.

At the end credits of IW, Fury and Hill were monitoring what was happening in Wakanda. So they knew there was a battle there. When people started turning to ash, Fury must have realized the Avengers have failed and therefore had to call the big gun.
