Yeah I guess you’re right.

Seeing Gold and Red leader for the first time since 1977 was a big let down.

That space battle so not like SW.

Ground battle, peewusa.

Tarkin, lame.

Young Leia, Zzzz Zzzz.

Vader finally unleashed.....booooooring!

I wanted to like it... I really truly did watch it with an open mind... but I just found it so bad, boring, bland and plotless.. :(

Anyway back to IW; the good movie. :D

You going to see any of the MCU 10th Anniversary IMAX screenings? I'd love to see A1 in IMAX but probably won't make it with work and all. :lol

I love it when they showed BP running super fast and Cap keeping up with him almost surpassing him :lol

That back and forth between the Wakanda and Titan battle reminds me of RO 3rd act in other words absolutely stunning to behold.

Yeah the IW third act is another total homerun. Hell I don't even mind when they cut from Wakanda and Titan to the Thor stuff with the forge. That shows just how strong each of the three threads are in their own right.

And I love that after the Wakandans mocked and humiliated Martin Freeman no one dared mess with Cap. Hell he practically led the charge, lol.

Think part 2 will live up to the greatness of part 1? That’s a big shoe to fill!

I think it has a good chance given both part 1 and 2 were written at the same time as one story arc... unlike Star Wars where each director writes their own thing which ends up with 3 movies with different stories they don't gel well together......

Just finished watching the 4K Blu ray... Man this film is great!!!!

Hope the payoff in the next one really nails it... Especially for Hulk.

Some people think Professor Hulk will make an appearance... Man I hop not.

RO IMO takes a repeat viewing to fully appreciate.. Characters are much better after we already know who they are and the story flows better.

IW 3rd act kills RO 3rd act IMO. Don't get me wrong RO 3rd act is great but without that Vader scene it would not even be worth mentioning in the same breath as IW.

Vader Unleased is one of cinemas greatest moments :) :) :)

Silly Chakor. You just need to give RO another watch, that’s all. It’s a great movie. We all love it.

Then another.

Then another.

Then another.

Oh gosh yes definately for Avengers 1.

Yeah the Forge stuff is a really quick scene no biggie especially since it pays off in such a big way.

If they do a PH it probably will just be Hulk giving some quick scientific input to the team to show that Banner is now in full control of the Hulk.

Darklord Dave is gonna ask us to sign the TLJ Accords.

Spazz will try to infiltrate the site to get us to turn against each other since Snoop dropped a building on his latest sock account which we didn't notice since we were too busy kickin' ***.

Even popular movies tend to get picked apart when the dust settles and people can check out the blu-ray post-hype but that just doesn't appear to be happening with IW. In fact watching it at home just clinches even more how blown away at what was accomplished on all levels with this film.

How the hell does Marvel sell the "look this hero is meeting so and so on screen for the first time" 20 films in and still have it be just as exciting as Day 1? Unbelievable. I smile like a little kid every time I see Thor, Rocket, and Groot join the fight in Wakanda not to mention a dozen other moments throughout the movie.

I think it’s something like 23 primary characters and that’s NOT including the black order, M’baku, Ross, Ant-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, Wong, Pepper, Peter’s friend, Heimdell and Dinklage! :google

WTF WB couldn’t even handle the JL they even scrapped the Unite the Seven. :lol

So true and they even found a way to seamlessly integrate threads from other films without feeling like they were backtracking, retconning, or slowing the pace of the current film in any way. Like answering the question of where the Red Skull went, whether Rocket actually keeps the body parts he steals as jokes, and revealing the super creepy end result of a successful Chitauri/Leviathan invasion as we saw on Gamora's planet.

The original Avengers feels much more sinister now that we know that New York wasn't just a generic invasion *coughsteppenwolfcough* and that if the heroes had failed that Thanos would have shown up once the Chitauri had secured the planet so that he could have given the order to slaughter half the Earth's inhabitants. They juggled 23 heroes in a coherent narrative while *simultaneously* adding cohesion to a *20 film narrative.* I couldn't be more blown away.

When it’s spelled out like that it’s truly quite mind blowing.

IW1 and IW2 are the true cinematic successors of the LOTR cinematic milestones and actually at an unprecedented larger scale.

Hey look WB is making 2 Joker movies :lol

This really does feel like the time between TTT and ROTK. Where you just know that an adapted literary story is being translated to the big screen with possibly the absolute ideal director/writer team for that particular project. How lucky that we've gotten multiple perfect storms of talent and subject matter throughout our lives. The OT, LOTR, and now MCU.

Even *if* IW2 is somehow a bloated mess you just know that there's going to be any number of individual payoffs (return of ashen heroes, Cap getting his proper shield, Hulk's revenge, Thor's revenge, probably at least one show-stopping tracking shot of all 25+ heroes fighting in the same battle, etc.) that will be more than worth the price of admission.

One theory I have (that I'm sure others have come up with on their own) is that Red Skull was only "cursed" to guide others to the Soul Stone simply due to the fact that he has nothing to sacrifice since he has nothing that he loves. So he deliberately waited for decades for someone to come along who *could* make the sacrifice and get the stone so that he can steal it out from under them. I really wonder if he'll be hiding in the wings to reappear in IW2.

That aren't in any way connected to each other (because it's just so hard, lol) and that will probably be reshot by another director halfway through.

Ive watched IW for the 13th time today- we now run it in the background - there is no bad part of this movie...

I just watched it again last night with my cousin. He was so busy with work that he didn't get a chance to see it in the theaters. Luckily, he didn't hear anything about the movie so it was a spoiler free viewing for him. He was blown away. We spent about an hour talking just about the movie after we had seen it.

I figure the card they have up their sleeves are the Skrulls.

Word is that there WILL be a 20+ group tracking shot of a coordinated assault that WILL be teased at in the first trailer hence the seperate group battles in IW1.

Also that
Cap picks up Thor’s hammer! Under what circumstances I don’t know but that also that either Bucky or Falcon use his shield, again unknown the circumstances.

Also go rewatch the IW trailers many critical scenes were present in them with no negative impact to the experience.

:lol :rotfl

There have been many times when I've wished there was a gif of that shot that I could use as a reply to various posts over the years but alas to my knowledge no one has created one yet, lol.

Clown Prince is our man. He made some GIFs for me a while back.

Has anybody found the Director's Round-table discussion for Infinity War online anywhere for free? I only have the Blu-ray disc.
