Every time I see Alison Brie's grumpy puss expression in that dumb costume, I can't help but think Marvel is about to make a suicidal error in judgement by destroying the good will created by the nearly perfect Infinity War...by foisting this joyless Mary Sue on us to "save the day" and "everything you can do I can do better."

Please god don't let them be as tone deaf as the Lucasfilm group. It will be heartbreaking to see them take the first 20 movies that have shattered records and are so beloved, and watch them stand over it and drop a big old Cleveland steamer in the name of forced "diversity." I pray the writers, directors, and producers have more integrity than that.

And if they don't? If they just can't resist poisoning the golden goose? I hope the audiences reject it more vocally than TLJ.

But then again, maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm just the bitter old man again. I suppose all of you "on the right side of history" really are looking forward to a snarky, joyless ***** coming in out of nowhere and single handedly stopping the greatest threat the universe has ever known without breaking a sweat, and calling Cap and Thor and Iron Man a bunch of loser grampas in the process. Oh what a glorious movie going experience that will be.

They've already started steering the ship in that direction with Kevin Feige praising Black Panther as the best movie Marvel has ever made.
The movie was good but its no where near the top 5 or even 10.

Completely agree.

Evans, Rudd and Scar Jo called back for some pick up shots.
(Wish he’d been this blonde consistently through his tenor as Rogers)

He is such a great Rogers.

I thought he was a kinda crappy choice way back then. Glad I was proven wrong on that one.

I fell asleep during it. I've found the praise of Black Panther to be very peculiar.

I was just glad to have an MCU filck that A) didn't have five different Avengers characters needlessly shoehorned into it and B) didn't have every character cracking one-liners every two minutes.

I very much liked BP. It was the first film I've seen in theaters for some years now. I agree with you on both aspects. Out of preference, I would like these films to be treated how Nolan made TDK films; he's stated he wanted every one of them to be their own film without them overly relying on one another, but still tied stories. I got that gist with BP and I liked its overall tone.

This is exactly what the MCU needs to do with all of its characters in Phase Four. I wish they would scrap all of the overcrowded and overstuffed "Junior Avengers" movies like Civil War and just focus on the main characters themselves and their own stories like BP and TDK films did.

You do understand the concept of a shared cinematic universe right lol

Yes but I am still personally sick of this overkill despite looking forward to Avengers 4. I feel like that would be a good place for them to stop and just focus on individual characters.

Marvel finally FINALLY gets X-Men and FF license back!

Chakor tells Feige to just make individual character movies.

:lol

You’re so cute lol

Wasn't necessarily referring to those new characters, just the Avengers characters who will remain after Avengers 4.

Oh wait is that Spider-Man and Wolverine teaming up? Nevermind, the Michael Bay-tier action is just so awesome! :blissy

It would be smart if Feige did X-Men 1 without Wolverine and do a solo Wolverine between X1 and X2. That's the proper way to build up Wolverine. Singer and Fox had to put Wolverine in everything except for First Class, which was nice to see Prof X and Magneto getting developed. PLEASE, NO MORE MYSTIQUE!
