I highly doubt the MCU X-Men or FF will ever be able to live up to the novelty of seeing the team together for the first time in the original Avengers or the epic loss they suffered at the end of IW. Assuming Avengers 4 feels like a proper conclusion to the MCU and not a gigantic trailer for Phase Four, then X-Men and FF will probably feel more like products and less like actual film. I would never hope for that to be the case of course, but right now I'm extremely skeptical and probably will not bother anyway because I personally have zero investment in those characters.

Move along folks nothing to see here.

The xmen on screen in a large universe with the characters done right (not just wolverine) and red and blue suits will be a dream. Not to mention they will finally utilize there powers instead of focusing on magneto and wolverine and mystique .

If I have no investment in the comics characters then why should I care about the MCU versions of them if I have already made a commitment to be done with the universe after Avengers 4? Of course there is always the possibility that they could shoehorn them into Avengers 4 at which point I would not have a choice, but otherwise I just don't personally care for the characters. But if the fans are happy then that is OK, I am just not the audience for them. :)

Same can be said for Captain Marvel which I am skipping because I do not care for the character, but I will watch on rental and if she is actually a well-written character then I will probably like her because I am not against female leads when they are actually well-done characters.

I was gonna be done with the mcu long ago before they got Spider-Man. Why people were so hyped about a universe that was half together is beyond me. Marvel knew they needed these characters to keep printing money. They couldn’t ignore it.

They had leaked emails of marvel pretty much asking for Spider-Man to appear but Sony was to dumb at the time.

Then they buried the xmen and FF in hopes that audience would lose interest in the property for awhile and it worked cause the xmen movies aren’t nearly as loved as they were.

Marvel pretty much needs these characters back and I know some say they didn’t but they most certainly do. Can’t just rely on the cap and iron man for so long. Cant keep hoping that z list characters like the guardians will become more popular cause of a movie they needed there a listers back.

Xmen under the mcu is going to be amazing

I’m not a comic guy so I don’t know how these character look within the pages of comic books. Loved the look of Thanos in IW, however every time he was on screen I kept thinking that his features looked way to close to Iron Man’s "Obadiah Stane”. Did the MCU blow its load to early with "Obadiah Stane” design having a beard?? You decide…….

Oh I can see a post credit scene of someone seeing Wolverine's claw marks on a wall already.

I would lose my **** seeing that lol

What's amazing is that MCU is *still* milking the "OMG so and so on screen with so and so" aspect over *20 films in.* First we were blown away that the Avengers teamed up on screen. Then blown away that Spider-Man joined the group. Then blown away that two *teams* met each other (Avengers and GotG). And we haven't even gotten to the freaking X-Men yet. :thud:

And WB still can't properly unite the seve--I mean six, lol.

Panther and Spiderman in CW were epic enough now we’re getting X-Men, Brotherhood, FF, Skrulls, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Capt Marvel, Mar-vell, Warlock AND freaking DOOM!

Pure insanity.

WB is making a Joker movie without Batman. :lol
