It really sucks for people who are getting skipped, but it gives us a good idea as to how they operate.
I would say give it more time.
We have seen in the shipping experiment threads that often the emails are sent out by geographical location. Also the notifications have to go through different spam filters. I think its too early to start lighting the torches.
Let me just say that I know as a FACT that wait lists DO NOT convert in the order they are received... despite what customer service will tell you.
Again... it's a FACT.
Why don't you call and find you Robo? I sure would want to know if I were you.
Sideshow must be converting wait lists in the same random interval that pre-orders were accepted in.
Found yet another thing to whine about eh? So how many other threads do we get to look forward to your obnoxious posts? Sheesh, worse than a crazily obsessed ex girlfriend.
But that makes no sense. There are at least two people whose wait list orders went in well after mine did, yet they received conversion notices two days ago, and I've received nothing. There is no logical explanation for that, unless the wait list rules have changed, and it is no longer a first come, first served system.
That's what I meant. The pre-order wasn't first come-first serve, it was first come-maybe served (if you could connect to SS's inefficient servers). Now it looks as if the wait list conversions are just random as well. It's like the whole PZ PF is nothing but a lottery at this point.
That isn't what happened, and it really doesn't add anything to the discussion to make such a claim. The pre-order was first come, first served. You may not agree with the definition of "first come", but that doesn't change the fact that the first people who got their "place order" buttons successfully clicked are the ones who got their pre-orders in.That's what I meant. Sorry, but he has every right to complain about this. Sideshow has been slipping lately and the people buying their products are the ones paying the price.
God dammit, not this crap again...
Seriously, get a petition going or something instead of complaining.
