Funny, i could have sworn Löwenbräu was brewed at Miller in the States..technically only making the recipe German and not having it actually being made in Germany.I think its the same with Bud, here in Canada its brewed at Molsons i believe so, it tastes a bit better then the U.S Bud, in my opinion.
*Edit* I was right but, from 1970-2002 Löwenbräu was brewed by Miller, now its truly imported from Germany.

definately tastes better imo, the american version seems to be just flavoured water to me and is near impossible to get a buzz off of. while the canadian conterpart has a good shot of alcohol in it.:banana:banana

Turns out we have this in my local store, just bought one to try. :)

Picked up a 6-pack of Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale yesterday. I've not tried one yet but I hear they're really good.

I've had that before, you'll like it! :monkey5

I finally cracked one open last night when I sat down to watch Fringe. I really liked it, it wasn't too sweet like some of the other pumpkin ales I've had.

I tried my first Pumpkin beer last year and I thought I would hate it. I loved it! :rock

I actually tried my first ones last year too, Harvest Moon and Pumpkinhead. I liked them but they were a little too sweet. Not something I'd want to drink more than one of in one sitting.

I went on a beer run today. Shaw's had my fall favorite, Samuel Adams Octoberfest, for $12.99 so I decided to stock up. I also swung by the RSVP Discount Beverage and picked up a 4-pack of Dogfish Head Punkin Ale.

Nice haul! Got a few good German beers today like Weiner and some ESBs and Bombardiers.. Tomorrow off to my favorite pub to finally try some Pumpkin ale. :)

Been to my local pub last night. Too bad they didn't have any Pumpking ale.

I've tried a Tripel Karmeliet, an Icelandic beer called Lava. Great stout with a dry plum taste, then an Orval and finished with a Guinness. (too bad iPhone's camera sucks).

Oh man, I really wanna try one of those Pumpkin Ales! :(

Very tastey. It turns out the one I tried last night seems to consistantly be rated at or close to the top. I guess I guessed lucky when I grabbed it. Damn it was good too! :duff
