I just read yesterday that the Sam Adams Pumpkin Ale will be available in the Fall sampler packs. I'm planning on hitting the liquor stores this weekend to see if I can find it. The grocery store I looked in last night still had the Summer sampler pack.

The fall brings nicely colored foliage to Maine and the rest of New England. Along with this is Shipyard Pumpkinhead, a nice brew that's like a nice piece of pumpkin pie in every sip.

Here's what I got:

Just had the dogfish head stuff.

Wasn't real impressed, but I was drinking it with pizza, so that may have skewed the taste. Will try it by itself next time.

Can't wait to try the Pumking.
